auhehhh i dont have a problem with MLP or anything or its fans even but even with that in mind this video is pretty fuckin funny of its own right try not to focus on the context of the video but the sheer absurdity of his speech, as our good friend here did
The presentation made me cringe.
i honestly had to skip over the whole first part of the video. apparently during it some people start talking or laughing or something I just couldn't bear it and skipped to the speech [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] and to think he wanted to show a SECOND video
I don't understand why people embarrass themselves like that. Why can't he just keep his interests to himself?
haha his presentation didn't even make sense he just rambled incoherently about joining the army and doing something with your life, then said "proud to be a brony" and sat down i can't believe that stupid song went on for 3~ minutes i mean even if you enjoy the show how could that be considered tolerable
I don't follow the rubric, it limits my imagination so I'm not going to follow it. Everybody's going to think I'm so rebellious and edgy.
If you publicly admit to being a "brony" you're nothing more than a tool who should be executed for the greater good of the human race.
These people realize they will be bullied, right? Right?
haha the second video really tipped this in the net "keep calm and brony on" "by celestia thats all i need" "thanks to the 808 bronies for letting me join their herd" the narrator reading the line "based on ETHICS laid down by ~SOOOCIEEETY~" and then snorting and mouth breathing for a few seconds was amazing
If you publicly admit to being a "brony" you're nothing more than a tool who should be executed for the greater good of the human race.
Didn't Gabe Newell do exactly that?
Didn't Gabe Newell do exactly that?
gabe earned it
-snip-
i can't believe that stupid song went on for 3~ minutes i mean even if you enjoy the show how could that be considered tolerable
I'll admit that song made me cringe even as someone who likes the show, I've gotten used to it now but there are those moments that remind you of exactly what you're watching and make you wonder what the fuck you're doing
lol there's really nothing wrong with admitting you enjoy a show, but imagine if gabe made you sit through a 4 minute song from the show and legitimately thought you would gain some knowledge by such, then went on do a mumbled speech about how he "doesn't follow da rulz"
This thread is going to be closed real quick.

And treat it like it's a cult.
He got an A? :suicide:

Being a brony is stupid to begin with. If you walked around dressed as Barbie at age 17-21 around here, you'd be shot. How are MLP and Barbie different, besides the obvious points? Both are shows targetted towards young female audiences, both include gratuitous amounts of singing and girly things. Oh yea if you're gonna rate disagree, please do explain your 'side'.
Why.

My info is from wikipedia. The director person dude is the wife of Craig McCracken, the guy who made powerpuff girls while she made Fosters home for imaginary friends. She tailors the show for all ages (but mostly little girls) in order to allow parents to watch it with their children without killing themselves. Apparently she did a good job.

No one is "dressing as a pony" anyway, so your point is absurd lol the funny part here is he's doing a presentation about a TV show and then acting like a badass. you could replace this show with any other and it'd be equally funny. you're missing the point entirely
Oh yea if you're gonna rate disagree, please do explain your 'side'.
They are different because MLP: FIM is specifically made so that older, non-female audiences (intended to be parents) can watch it without wanting to murder themselves [editline]19th April 2012[/editline]
I'm pretty sure that bronies are people who watch the show, not people who dress up as ponies.
The term's been horribly corrupted to the point where people who like the show and participate in the community don't want to associate though, which IMO is self-defeating because refusing to use the term for those reasons is essentially handing it over to the worst of the worst.
I've always hated the term "brony." It's a stupid title people give themselves to make them seem special for liking a certain show. I enjoy it, I use pony avatars, but feeling the need to directly inform people that you and others watch the show is fucking annoying, especially when it's completely irrelevant.
How many fucking times do these threads need to appear before you all learn. FACEPUNCH MLP THREADS WILL NEVER WORK. Every idiot who thinks their opinion matters will make a sweeping generalization about people who watch the show or people who hate it. The other side will get pissed and retaliate. The arguments will follow the same course as always, saying the same stupid shit that everyone should know by heart now. We are running in circles. If you are NOT an idiot with a loud mouth who thinks we care about their opinion on pastel horses, please, fucking report this thread and let the mods lock it.

This is getting absurd. It's a TV show. I don't care what it's about or how amazing it is, it's a TV show. Why do people treat it like the second coming of Jesus?
