I don't think it was the sound of pop rocks but more the sudden sound of noise right next to their ear. Even moreso, since there's no reason for anything to be making any noise so close to their ear when they're in the library.

I still find it wrong in principle. People should be able to visit the library without being harassed, recorded and uploaded on youtube for others ammusement.

in the uk and a lot of america you can take a photo of anyone doing anything in a public place (or a private place from public land, or given permission) as long as it's not deemed to be sexually focused and use it for whatever you like
