when he first said that the super soaker didn't start out as a toy the first thing i thought he was going to say was that it was some weapons prototype
This is one of the things that I'm glad I know now.
His portfolio is phenomenal, the epitome of an enterprising engineer.
I wonder what generation of Dell Precision M6x00 he's using there.

The water cannon on metal gear ray comes to mind :v:
I wonder how many phones/electronics this guy is indirectly responsible for breaking.
I'm actually super excited he said he's working on a better battery.
You say in the title that he invented the super soaker.
But he invented NERF as well? This man created what is every modern americans' childhood foundation
I want to shake this man's hand and thank him for my entire childhood.
Man this guy really is pretty sharp.

I checked his patents and it looks like he invented the NERF blaster, not the foamy stuff itself.

Dude NERF Guns were my fucking childhood when i was a bit younger.
Are there any more videos about this guy? He's clearly done some awesome stuff.
Disappointed that they don't show the Super Soaker 2000 MK1. The only water gun to have been banned for being too powerful. I still have mine.

I want to shake his hand also, despite everyone in the neighborhood having a big ass super soaker and I always had the little dollar store water guns :v:

'Due to the size I'd say a 6700 or 6800. I had both, awesome machines.

Those go for a lot of money on eBay these days.

A kid on my road had one of those, he was 5 when he got it and it was as big as he was. He was a tiny fast moving target who could shoot you across the road, the 2000 was rightfully banned, it was unbalanced.

Holy shit! I had one of those things. I tossed it in the trash when I was a teenager cleaning up junk because it didn't work. I wish I had kept it and tried to fix it at some point.
This is interesting and all but this feels like a video with bare minimum content. 'We went all the way over there to interview him!' So here's 2 sentences he said and a couple of really broad statements on his life, all summed up as quickly as possible. It's like informative clickbait videos. Something youd see on a NOWTHIS facebook page.

Also, a personal anecdote loosely relating to the guy we interviewed to take up even more time of the 2 minute video

I know a guy who found a brand new, still in the original box CPS2000 Mk1 for $10 at a thrift store. He's had offers from hardcore super soaker collectors of thousands of dollars for it.

Pretty sure there was one in the video.
this arms dealer needs to be bought to justice for all the pain he allows to take place with his nefarious invention

I had respect for nerf guns before. I have more now.

I had the 3200, not as powerful with the backpack attachment but I could hook it up directly to a hose and increase pressure quite a bit. Doing that bypassed the pump system and could shoot across the yard, it was great :v:
