ECH that squeaking noise works through cameras as well.
lol the random black and white.
then everyone collectively claps and praises the big hunk of plastic
god damn it that polystyrene noise made me shiver.

they were sarcastically applauding the guy for a successful unboxing
well that certainly is lack luster for $250, plus the $600 console, $700 if you're in Canada after taxes.
So nearly $1000 for this
I guess people can spend their money on worse things
Fuck me for the kind of money I'd expect a little more than slightly higher quality versions of stuff you'd find in any other Colllector's Edition of something.
Imagine spending $250 on that.
When the guy said the Titan needed batteries I though it was an RC robot or something like that.

This "game" has a giant controller which gives you unsurpassed immersion, is actually functional, and it is cheaper than the Titanfall collectors edition. And it has better mechs.
And here I thought everyone was done blindly hating this game.
And here I thought everyone was done blindly hating this game.
I only see people hating on the ridiculously overpriced CE.
Nobody hating on the CE is going to buy it so that hate is kind of a waste of effort. The people who want something like this aren't people who can be convinced otherwise, and they're allowed to buy what they want anyway.

Nobody ever blindly hated Titanfall. The hell are you on about?

It was cheaper than the Titanfall collectors edition.
It's hard to get your hands on it nowadays, especially on the first release version without Line of Fire.
I have the Steel Battalion/Line of Fire bundle myself.

Clearly you haven't met Segasage the threadshitter.
I do like the model but it isn't worth 200 dollars

cool beans
not gonna lie though I'd love to have a controller set like that, but the huge issue is, it has absolutely no other functionality unless you wrote special drivers for windows, even if you can hook it up to a windows machine.
I mean I'd rather have a giant hunk of plastic that I can stare at and say that looks cool, than a controller set that makes me really wish it worked.
It is a nice collectors edition and is one i'd like, but not at the price it currently is. It would have to be about a third of that price for me to consider actually buying it.

Well, I got my Steel Battalion from ebay for 200 euros, including the xbox, so it was even cheaper (maybe europeans dont give shit about it). And it still works great!

You know why the price on the cheapest one is 600 dollars? because the cheaper ones are already taken. I got mine off ebay for like 200 bucks (if you dont count in the extra xbox)

still makes your point invalid since you cant get it for 200 anymore.
As cool as it is, you wouldn't expect this to be more than $150

God I love Steel Battalion. I used to feel like such a dick when I would get the fastest Mech in the multiplayer expansion, paint it green and use a Yoshi emblem and just speed around everyone as fast as I could blasting J-Pop through my radio and fucking jerking those sticks around and flipping all the buttons.

... Great?
Darn, I guess this game sucks because it doesn't come with foot pedals.
Gaming figurines that form a part of a 'collectors' edition are the biggest waste of time and plastic I've ever seen...
They think because they throw in a hunk of plastic shaped as a game character or item it jacks the price up 300%
Most of these CEs tend to get its price lowered in some retail stores. I once found a bunch of Skyrim Legendary Edition (Xbox 360 and PS3) selling for $80; and the AC4 CE for $60.
I don't know how crazy limited the Titanfall CE will be though.
Skyrim had a CE at launch that retailed at $150. It had a really nice art book and statue of Alduin.
$250 and we don't even get a steel case or anything
$250 for a gay plastic statue and an artwork book lmao. you have to be some retard to buy this

people bought the halo 3 legendary edition for the plastic helmet, people are going to buy this.
