Our 9 week old mini Dachshund is teething. If he's on his back with his belly up, and you hold him low enough so that he can't reach your hands with his mouth to nibble on you, he'll get angry as hell.

You have no idea how wrong you are, little ones like poodles may be nasty little shits but that's do to them being owned by wealthy woman who spoil them to hell which makes them think they're the alpha male/female.
Any dog is incredibly friendly and loving if you raise them right, most notably bigger dogs.
