the guy is good but it's kind of awkward to see the crowd and judges obviously overreacting
Felt a little bit over reacted but put a smile on my face and made me tear up like it was pixar. Good on that man to overcome such a feat
the guy is good but it's kind of awkward to see the crowd and judges obviously overreacting
If you watch other AGT or BGT videos, you can tell some of the reactions are staged, just by how suddenly everyone reacts at the exact same time.
holy SHIT i did not expect to get emotional listening to standup comedy, that was excellent
Can taking a softball to the throat really cause stuttering like that? I always thought it was neurological
so is the joke, like, that he stutters? because the only time people started laughing and reacting was when his stuttering got really bad, idk i feel like its kind of gimmicky and the novelty of it will wear off like two episodes in
Can taking a softball to the throat really cause stuttering like that? I've still got partial nerve damage left over from an infection that crushed the nerves that controlled the left side of my face, I still have slight issues closing my eye fully if I'm worn out or tired because it takes a lot more effort to get it to actually react. You also have to remember your neck is like a wire full of nerves.

People always seem to prefer the people who are, for example, different or challenged more than the people who actually have talent. 3 year olds singing on stage will get through an audition purely because they are cute. They can't sing, but who cares?
The worst ones have been the pre-teen "rappers", fucking awful.
I finished a show literally yesterday and there was a single black kid singing uptown funk. t was the most awkward shuffle dance and missed note pile ever but he's black and young ...so he gets double the applause than a regular young-un
they do get shot down tho
This. Howard was being honest and was doing his job. The kid wasn't a good rapper, he's young, he is literally there cus he is "cute". I feel like the parents try to take advantage of these things sometimes, they know that people like that stuff so they put them on stage.
