I'm kinda on the fence about how I feel about this video. He was being kinda a dick but does that give police the legal right to do this? The cops also said they're exempt from the law? What do you guys think? (I'm pro-gun, FWIW).
what a bizarre country
I'm from the other side of the pond where guns are pretty much 99% illegal in most cases, but if you're carrying a weapon in public you obviously should be showing that you're doing it legally. If police are asking for documentation, it's your responsibility to get your permits/licenses shown without hassle. The law is supposed to treat everyone fairly, sometimes you have to lay down, be passive and let them do their thing and cooperate. That's your contract to be protected by your country. If you're going to whine like a child, whilst putting the officer in an awkward position where they're going to struggle to respond to you, how are you gonna expect them to react? [sp]Also the description plugging one of them "defend yourself against the law" sites, these types of people get officers killed because they think they're part of an evil machine. [/sp]
he looks absolutely ridiculous

[/sp]
They never asked for his carry permit though. They just yanked his guns and charged him with resisting arrest, when they didn't arrest him until they charged him, and when he never resisted. He was just bitching.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. A well regulated Militia regulated Militia regulated
the guy's walking around with a loaded rifle strapped to his front and some people can't understand why this happened?
the guy's walking around with a loaded rifle strapped to his front and some people can't understand why this happened?
Sure it causes issues, but he wasn't breaking a law by doing this. That's why I'm on the fence about this one.
I wasn't aware that open carry is illegal in texas.
I wasn't aware that open carry is illegal in texas.
It isn't. I think it's legal in most states. At least with long guns.
bro this video is cj grisham, a stolen valor fraud that was afraid to leave his base and abandoned his unit while they were deployed in afghanistan to go see a concert. hes one of the guys running open carry texas in san antonio and he is a nutjob [editline]28th December 2015[/editline] former green beret and embedded journalist michael yon has covered this man extensively
It isn't. I think it's legal in most states. At least with long guns.
Its legal in VA for christ sake, if you can get away with it here surrounded by gangstas and yuppies, why the hell did someone call the cops on this guy? Must have been that scary machinegun.
he puts himself in these situations with law enforcement and practically forces his son to witness it

Seems like the guy's got enemies.
im all for guns and open carry and all that bullshit but i would disregard his political message entirely because the guy is a known nutjob [editline]28th December 2015[/editline]
Oh, or maybe he just had enemies...
the guy is a shitbag NCO, do some research on him [editline]28th December 2015[/editline] and michael yon has done more to piss off cj grisham than he has pissed off yon. the most hes done to yon is send yon death threats over facebook lol, while yon has been publishing his history for years now [editline]28th December 2015[/editline] the dude is literally crazy
Mystery solved. The officers probably knew who it was and anticipated his antics.

The police are allowed to stop you when you're not in your home (PC depending, openly carrying a rifle and people having probably called it in count). They're allowed to take your gun and check it if they want to, even if it's an open carry state like this one, to make sure you're legally allowed to be carrying it. If you aren't breaking any laws then you're free to go. But if people call the police and say a guy with a gun is walking around, the police are going to show up. Just comply and be on your merry way, they're within their rights to do this. Resist them and then you're fucked. If the state says you're exempt then you're exempt but the police are still going to show up and make sure. This guy resisted and gave the officer a hard time. On top of it he's doing this purely to instigate these situations, which happens a LOT, so he learned that on the streets the police are the law. If you want to fight the police that's what court is for. The officer was completely in the right. Officer doesn't have to ask you shit about 'Can I disarm you and check your weapon?' before doing it. They can, but it's tactically stupid to be so light handed, IMO, and probably in this officer's opinion, too, when dealing with someone who clearly has a rifle on them. There's 3 things the police hate more than anything. People with camera's because even their justified legal use of force when conducting an arrest can now be put on CNN and end their career. Home alarms which go off so much fines have to be implemented as a deterrent. And Google lawyer police instigators who love to make GOTCHA videos And people who ask questions when they're trying to grab a bite to eat
I wasn't aware that open carry is illegal in texas.
I think on January 1st it becomes legal
So the guy's an idiot who likes to be a dick? Well if I saw an idiot who likes being a dick walking around provokingly sporting a rifle I'd stop him see what he's up to any day. Even if he wasn't actually an idiot who likes being a dick, he was ticking all the boxes when he was interacting with the police. So I can't blame them for holding him and getting more insistent as he's getting into his 'sovereign citizen' bullshit
OP is in this video (User was banned for this post ("shitpost/why reply?" - OvB))
OP is in this video
All of OP's recent SH & Video threads have failed to convince me he's not some kind of liveleak bot. Minus the live leak videos
All of OP's recent SH & Video threads have failed to convince me he's not some kind of liveleak bot. Minus the live leak videos
Pretty sure I don't make a habit of posting liveleak 24/7 bruh
All of OP's recent SH & Video threads have failed to convince me he's not some kind of liveleak bot. Minus the live leak videos
In one of his many threads, he keeps saying that he "follows a Google+ feed" where he gets all of his garbage. [editline]28th December 2015[/editline]
Pretty sure I don't make a habit of posting liveleak 24/7 bruh
Nah you just make it a habit of posting Google+ 24/7 bruh
Nah you just make it a habit of posting Google+ 24/7 bruh
Except I don't do that either.
Pretty sure I don't make a habit of posting liveleak 24/7 bruh
Yeah that's why I said minus the liveleak. It's all videos and articles that feel like they should have some eye-grabbing prefix next to the title like "SHOCKING" or "SCARY" or "WTF?"
Except I don't do that either.
Be honest, you do
Its legal in VA for christ sake, if you can get away with it here surrounded by gangstas and yuppies, why the hell did someone call the cops on this guy? Must have been that scary machinegun.
Tell me about how those gangstas and yuppies walk around with ARs in public.
American cops have itchy trigger fingers because everybody is armed, even people that really shouldn't be armed. America needs more regulation of firearms to deal with that brutality issue.
Tell me about how those gangstas and yuppies walk around with ARs in public.
I think you misread that.
