Wow, that's a lot better than my take that I made back in April. Especially since it's actually got a clip of Ross screaming this time.
Should totally send that to Ross.

Based on my post from the same day? A few hours earlier?

Oh yeah, that and this post:

is partly what I had in mind when I thought of the whole yelling thing, and I must've had Flicky's video subconsciously in there as well because I felt like "Someone's done this before" but I couldn't find the video until it was too late. :v:

Sent it to his mail, not expecting a reply though. .v:
My friend had an idea that there would be an epilogue where it turns out Freeman is stuck in a time loop, where he's stuck saving the world every day. So it cuts to the future where he's gotten so used to the routine he tries to speedrun the game like that, making comments about how fast he's bunny hopping and calculating his next jump and fitting previous monologues he made in previous episodes to several second phrases as he scoots pasts the world.
i love how it briefly goes back to screaming
Very very very good.
It'd be fucking hilarious to imagine actually seeing an employee at work hopping around the work area at a very fast speed while screaming at the top of his/her lungs from the perspective of one of his/her coworkers. That'd be quite an experience.
I was very much hoping for his "modern major general" singing, but screaming at the top of his lungs is a close second. I'd love to see the whole run this way!
Is jumping backwards faster in the game or is it a glitch? How so fast?

Its something that comes from the core of Quake's engine. Somehow traveling backwards doesn't apply a velocity limit unlike forward movement, so if you land the jumps right you can just keep going faster and faster and faster.

they're not jumping backwards tho, thats ABH and that only applies to source engine runs
this is just straight up bhop, which is when you jump and strafe you gain a bit more speed than you would walking, so jumping at the right time will let you keep the speed and gain more speed
