I kept thinking about buying Killzone 2 after I rented it but I never got around to it, and this looks promising.
I guess I'll add this along with LBP:2 to my list.
This is looking good.
That trailer was a LOT of cliches put together. Looked kind of bad.
To me Killzone has always seemed like a game series that was being pushed too hard by the developers. It was supposed to be a Halo-killer, and failed horribly, and from there it just seems like they force the games out there rather than letting them be accepted. I liked Liberation strangely enough though.

CoD is a game series which is pushed too hard by the developers and it does well, maybe this is a good thing because a lot more work went into Killzone. It looks better than the previous two games so far anyway.
There's something about Killzone that struck me and still does, but I don't know what it is.
Oh look, its WW2 in Space 3: Cliche Warfare 10.
Killzone fucking sucked.
Killzone 2 Sucked harder and was massively over-hyped.
Killzone 3 will suck just as hard, if not harder.

First, if you knew about WW2, you wouldn't say that because this has practically NOTHING in relation to WW2, except the invasion part.
Secondly, I've seen very little cliches through out the game. The only one that sticks out like a sore thumb is the constant cursing, but in the second game they reduced that drastically.
Edit:
I'm not a fanboy, but I just hate it when people say that because it makes no sense if you've actually played the game and payed attention to the details.
That looked awesome.
That was very cool. Even if the game isn't that good(I won't even be buying it because I don't have a PS3), I still think this trailer is great.
killzone 2 felt really depressing
it really just slammed you with depression everywhere
I played the Beta back a few months ago for the multiplayer, and compared to Killzone 2, the controls are more fluent and feel good, and the graphics for being an alpha were pretty impressive, there's even some colour this time, instead of brown and grey.
When i say cliche i dont mean OH ITS JUST ANOTHER FUTURE SHOOTER, i mean action movie cliches. Like one of them is about to walk slowly with an explosion behind them and light a cigarette.
I haven't even beat Killzone 1. What the heck am I doing?
I need to get a PS3...

Just in case anyone was curious as to the song they were using.
I only just got Killzone 2 and I'm stuck at the fight with that super-fast flying thing on the rooftop. But I still LOVE this series. There's a really good history to it and not a half bad story in the games with some great, albeit unrevolutionary, gameplay.
Is it unusual for me to feel sympathy for the Helghast? I mean I was even sorta pissed when [sp]Scolar Visari was killed.[/sp]
When you read the Killzone timeline you learn that Helghan pretty much got shat on.
Also Rico's a dick and you're with him for like the whole game so yeah.

The A-Tac?
If you think that's hard, you're gonna love fighting [sp]Colonel Radec[/sp]

Yeah I actually stopped playing the singleplayer for a while because the look and setting was so dark and gloomy.
Say what you want about generic space nazis, but they're a damned sight more interesting than most enemies.
I'm loving the Malcolm McDowell.
y'know what, I want the Helghast to win, they're so much more interesting than the generic action hero ISA.

Wait...when have their ever been Space Nazis?

It would be interesting to play as Helghast soldier. For example, if the Helghast resumed their invasion of Vekta ( or some other ISA planet ) and you played as the Helghast, I would be more than interested.
What was the name of the guy Sean Pertwee played in Killzone 2? I never got to him. Forget.
The Helghast look cool
Killzone. Story.
LOL
After KZ2 the series really starts to toy with your head, and after seeing the heart and spirit of the Helghast I'm starting to side with them more. Also, seeing hair on those two guys, especially a thick head of hair and a mustache, seems odd for the Helghast. It'll probably make sense if they're said to be half-human or something.

I really felt bad for them when [sp]Scolar nuked Pyrrhus[/sp] since that was all they really had. They were formidable from the start but they became more of a challenge afterward.

After Rico couldn't stop wanting revenge at the end of KZ2 and screwed over the ISA, I seriously wanted him to die and the ISA to lose.
Ray Winstone is the voice for that new mustachio'd General.
