It's a well made touch pad that uses a completely different style of playing an instrument.
It also sounds cool.

How much does it cost to make a multi touch pressure pad? And why isn't it in phones etc.
I think it's a pretty interesting concept.
Actually, it does have some very interesting features. The pressure and vibrato thing was really impressive, if all the layout is rather uncomfortable, I'd have it laid out on two panels, on rows of 5x8, giving you 10 octaves.
If this had been around a few years ago, I could picture Pink Floyd being all over it....

That was my first thought. It sounded like something straight out of a Pink Floyd song.
Basically it's a synth, but I think it is pretty cool and if it's cheap I can see this becoming pretty popular. Only if it's cheap though.

That's just one patch.
Really it's another midi controller but still, new layouts and approaches to playing can lead to the user creating music they wouldn't have normally.

Unless he actually makes an instrument that makes all those sounds, it will just be a synthesizers.
I like it, the pressure sensitive aspect of it makes me think it would be something good to use to ease stress and relax with calming sound.
