Really, people needed to give Medal of Honor: Conflict Participant a chance...
Pretty crazy how it started as a trend setter and after just two games it started to chase after other more successful franchises.
Medal of Honor Airborne on the hardest difficulty still gives me flashbacks to this day. That fucking death animation where you see your hand on the floor is burned into my retinas.
I enjoyed hells highway for what it was
I will never forget Medal of Honor because of its extremely solid soundtrack that still gives me PTSD from just listening to it.

the whole OST is one prolonged eargasm
Medal of Honor Pacific Assault was probably one of the best games I ever played as a kid. Looking for the hidden objectives and 'Hero Moments' really made it fun as hell.
I owned European Assault but I can hardly remember if it was any good. It looks so diverse, I wish I could play it now.
Medal oh Honour, underground, Allied Assault, spearhead, breakthrough, frontlines and Rising Sun made up such a big part of my life as a rather unhappy kid, there is not a single night that'd pass where i would not be playing one of those games for hour and hours on end, as such it'll forever have a place in my gaming heart and memories. But the development code name was quiet apt for Call of Duty as it would transpire, cause it certianlly killed my hype for MoH games after CoD 1 and United Offensive.

When it comes to sales, corporate decisionmakers often forget to innovate instead of mimic, and lose sight of what made a series appealing in the first place.

Ah yes, the era when this was the sound I heard every day and always meant I was about to have many hours of fun.

Back then it used to be about making good games. Now it just means finding new ways to milk people for money. What's the point of innovating when it's easier to just make the same shooter over and over.
This video is unavalible now...

The Medal of Honor video is temporarily offline due to a song-related copyright claim, it will be back up shortly.
It's back
Sorry about the re-upload, everyone. As a consequence of a copyright claim on one of the songs in the video, we had to take it down and modify it accordingly.
We also took this opportunity to rectify the "9th of June" mistake in the video. :)
Medal of Honor Allied Assault was my very first online multiplayer experience. The excitement I felt when I saw that loading screen before going in-game is indescribable.
Frontline was fucking amazing. The ending where you steal the jet is still fresh in my mind all these years later.
EA is a work of art at milking franchises to there death.
I remember spending hours playing on modded MOHAA servers when I was young, mostly base builder. There was also some mod that was a riot where one guy was invisible with a single shot pistol and only popped into view with a red flash when he shot. Everyone else had to try to gun him down with machine guns.
It's hard to believe nowadays that Medal Honor used to be a fairly prestigious and critically acclaimed franchise. I have nothing but fond memories of it. When Call of Duty completely cannibalized it, it's easy to forget that without Medal of Honor there wouldn't have been a Call of Duty. It's another example of the type of game that I think is elevated by it's music as well. A great sound soundtrack is one of those things that can elevate a good game to a great one.
It's so hard to pick just one song to post when posting Medal of Honor music.

Also fun fact, Michael Giacchino, the composer for the early iterations of the series and probably the most iconic themes of the series, got his Hollywood/TV break because JJ Abrams loved his music in Medal of Honor. He's since been scoring films and doing great work like the soundtrack for Incredibles.

Christopher Lennertz took over after Giacchino left for the rest of the WWII games. He had big shoes to fill, but I think he did a great job on the games he worked on.

Pacific assault had some really gruesome death animations.
Also anyone else play the hell out of MOHAA multiplayer?

I have fond memories watching my brother play this game!
European Assault was one of the games I got with my first PS2, I fondly remember being stuck on the first campaign for weeks because my TV's brightness was atrocious. I never actually finished the final mission/boss fight either, I should dig it up and try it again.
