That's actually spooky as Hell. Jesus, you couldn't even see the guy.
I believe there's a news article about this, http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2014/11/watch_drive_approaches_suspicious_roadblock_on_turnpike_zooms_away_as_man_approaches_vehicle.html
Still, Tukhtin called police after he drove away from the scene. State police spokeswoman Alina Spies said troopers responded to the scene and discovered that the car had run out of gas.

The driver and his passenger were trying to get help in an "inappropriate and dangerous" way, State Police Capt. Stephen Jones said.
yeah no shit, There's a few tales out there where people encounter unexplainable roadblocks in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere.
Does he just drive around with traffic cones in his trunk?
Does he just drive around with traffic cones in his trunk?
Honestly, that's not such a weird or bad thing to have. He just used them in a really inappropriate and dangerous way. Like, if you break down at night and put a couple of those cones behind your vehicle it gives vehicles traveling at high speeds a chance to see them and break before they rear end your car or something. Same principle as flares, beacons and glowsticks. It's an emergency caution device to draw attention. But how dense do you have to be to think it's okay to block the highway with them at night and approach vehicles that are forced to stop. Like, he didn't even let that guy pass when he tried to go between the cones the guy got out infront of his car so he couldn't go. [editline]14th October 2015[/editline] He should have stopped for the guy. "Am I being detained? Am I being detained? Are you detaining me? What reason do you have to stop me? Am I in commission of a crime? Am I being detained? Am I free to go? I don't have to show you ID. Am I free to go? Am I being detained?" Works every time.
Does he just drive around with traffic cones in his trunk?
road safety kits exist and are 100% legal to use just not like this
I'm all for stopping and helping somebody who's stuck, but they way that guy did that was so sketchy I literally would not have even stopped.
Yeah, I would've sped back up and driven right through those cones.
Modern day Highwayman.
I remember this, this was a few miles away from me. These guys were stopping people late at night, and stealing everything they had including the car. Sometimes ending up killing the person they stole from too. This might be a different instance, but I know it happened multiple times in the same span of time.
Yeah I would never stop for that, I mean I'm all for helping other drivers if they're broke down but putting up traffic cones like that in the middle of the road , if I don't see a badge or flashing lights I aint stoppin'. Curious to find out more about that.

I saw a really similar video of a forced traffic stop like this one in between two corn fields. As soon as the dude started peeling out of there you can catch a glimpse of two or three people coming out from crouching behind the corn stalks. Creepy as fuck.
