This butter thing is exaggerated. I make my own butter by whisking cream until it it hardens, then I add some sour cream and salt. Best butter you can get is by making it yourself.

There's actually plenty of butter in the store shelves. At least after what I've seen.

I work at a grocery store. People keep saying its blown out of proportion. Yeah maybe a bit, but not as much as you say. You might have been lucky getting butter. Or the stores near you are lucky. We get maybe a few cartons a week. Like 1-4. One goes in 20-30 minutes. So the store is without butter 80% of the time. So are others.

I've yet to see any of the local stores run out of butter. Media really doesn't know what they're talking about!
