So basically a stop motion of Legos but done by professionals with a really high budget? I'm in.
Apparently it's CG meant to imitate stop-motion.
Looks like they did a great job cause it looks like the real deal. More so than the Lego Batman movie, which was also a good watch.
Apparently it's CG meant to imitate stop-motion.
That explain the last part of the trailer when that girl just ran away.
I clicked on this expected something extremely cringe-worthy, but this actually looks like it might be entertaining. Not to mention it's got Will Ferrell and Morgan Freeman.
Will Arnett, Liam Neeson and Morgan fucking Freeman in a LEGO movie? Christ, sounds like it might be worth a watch.
That actually looks pretty OK. I got a laugh out of the batman bit. The CG stop motion style looks fucking fantastic.
i would watch it just for the CG style alone. but since the guy behind cloudy with a chance of meatballs is behind it, it's a guarantee ill watch it.
Holy fuck, that cast.
"I ONLY WORK IN BLACK. *looks away* *quickly turns back* And sometimes, very very very dark grey" Oh I didn't know this would make me laugh so hard
I like how they went for a stop-motion feel. Fits great with LEGO stuff.
Wow, I was expecting something really... cringe-worthy, I guess, for the film, but this actually looks like it could be fun. The stop-motion CG style looks awesome, and if it's directed by Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs guy, then heck yeah, count me in.
I'm definitely the direction they took with the animation. The "big glaring red trailer" font usually has a foreboding forecast for a movie but this doesn't seem too bad.
Will Ferrell and Morgan Freeman.
Normally this would be a mixed bag, but thankfully Will Ferrell isn't the lead role.
The part where the shark was thrown reminded me of Lego Island. Movie looks great!
Ahahaha oh man this looks fucking fantastic.
There's Johnny Thunder in the trailer :D
I haven't been to the movies in a long time. This might change that.
There's Johnny Thunder in the trailer :D
What!? Where?
This looks great can't wait for this and it reminds me of how my mom told me to throw out my legos when I was young since they were on the floor. But still Morgan Freeman is good best voice.

I love the little references to the older Lego sets.
The part where the shark was thrown reminded me of Lego Island. Movie looks great!
IIRC the guy was choking a a shark that was choking on a dog that was choking on a cat that was choking on a bird, in front of the pizza shop.

Man, between Johnny Thunder and those old castle sets I had was set as a child, as far as toys went.

Yeah, its pretty fucking impressive how much detail they put into the models. http://imgur.com/SU9GHZr http://imgur.com/SNbuIqr Look at his helmet and you can see its cracked and chewed just like how your younger brother did it.
Haha, holy shit that looks awesome.
Also, calling the ending now. Right when the final blow is about to happen it cuts to Will Ferrall in his underwear holding the legos in his hands and the set peices around him and someone off screen telling him its time for dinner. He screams back "I'm Busy!" Cut to black.
