Dare Devil was an awful character to make a movie about in the first place. Honestly as long as he doesn't try to muffle his voice by making it sound gritty and uninterpretable, he can be batman all the fuck he wants. Christian Bale is the crazy fuck Gotham doesn't deserve.

It seems he's just lacking a decent record for coming off as a serious, imposing character. Considering that's one of the essential factors of Batman's character as the Dark Knight...
Not sure if late but he's going to be batman in a justice league movie also

The idea that Ben is approach the gig the same way that he did an entire decade ago is ridiculous
It also needs to be considered that the director plays a huge part in directing the actors on how to act in each take

Heath Ledger didn't have the decent record for coming off as a maniacal clown. Considering that's one of the essential factors of Joker's character as the Clown Prince of Crime.

There's always a shitload of critique when certain actors are announced for certain roles. As far as I can recall, people weren't too excited for Bale's batman, nor Heath Ledger's joker either. Look how that turned out. Wait till the movie comes out, or at least the trailer to start judging it this harshly.

To be fair Christian Bale was a horrible Batman.
It was him as Bruce Wayne that saved it IMO.
