Hows it going guys,
Been doing this series a while now, essentially reviewing the varying weapon manufacturers on Pandora in Borderlands 2.
This one is all about Dahl, let me know what you guys think!

Pretty nice actually.

Glad you enjoyed :)
You forgot to mention how the E-tech rifles have that tri-shot thing goin on
I never realized the perks of Dahl until now.

Oh man do I hate that characteristic. A lot of people have asked me to make a E-Tech guide after all the companies, so I plan to include that as well as all the other E-tech traits to round it out and make a separate video.
Burst fire sniper rifles are a pain in the ass. You have 10 shots total because half the mag is fired in each shot
Is it weird that I find more Dahl grenade rifles than regular Dahl assault rifles?

Yes. It's actually ironic considering I spent almost an entire week trying to find one just for this guide. I spent one of those days practically spamming different forums to find someone who would let me use a level 30ish grenade launcher.
What an unsettling time that was. You are very lucky sir.
Personally, I think an entire episode on E-Tech weapons might be called for. Although they're manufactured by a variety of different companies, they are in themselves a separate class of weapon.

If only it had extended mags, I really like the concept of burst fire sniper rifles but I agree, the reloads are too often for my taste, especially with an E-Tech, those don't work well with Dahl Sniper Rifles.
Finally. The bossest and bestest company in BL2

I gotta say those ECHO's In Caustic Caverns were pretty messed up.

What? :P
What? :P
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
oh hey i missed all five shots and wasted all of my ammo
I prefer Hyperion snipers. Miss the first shot because of sway? No problem, my next 6 shots will be on target with no issues.
hyperion makes me waste ammo more than a Dahl would. I prefer Torgue shotguns, jakobs pistols, vladof and Dahl are tied for my favorite assault rifles,

That's why I only use their snipers :v: (aside from the conference call if i ever get it)

I haven't even given Hyerion snipers much of a try yet. I enjoy Jakobs or Vladof Snipers the best, both usually kill in the first shot to the head, so that works for me :)
I'll give Hyperion a shot though.
Very informative and well thought out. I like this series.
I disagree with the turret being a "fire and forget" weapon.
At higher levels you need to actively keep an eye on the health of your turret and reclaim it before it is destroyed to maximize the use you get out of it. A destroyed turret wastes the cooldown but reclaim it and you can redeploy a fully repaired one sooner.

Did you mean "I'll give Hyperion about half a magazine of shots before I can accurately hit anything"? :v:

I said fire and forget with a comparison of the Scoripio turret in mind, since that variant didn't even have the ability to change positions.
And yes, thats exactly what I meant :D
Massive improvement over your older videos. Good job!

Level 43 Axton here, never once found a Dahl assault rifle.
Level 32 Axton, I have found my first "true" Dahl assault rifle two levels ago.
It's purple, too!
I think my Borderlands 2 is broken. Every Dahl assault rifle I've found was a grenade launcher and every Vladof rifle was single shot.

Why does it seem like I was the only person to NOT find a Dahl grenade launcher when I needed it?
As for the Vladof: dude, you're missing out man, Vladof is the best IMO.

Haha thanks man. Anything still lacking though?
I still haven't gotten an answer for this:

Is the foregrip on this concept art an actual gun part in game?

I'm not sure to be honest, I would assume so since it is a wallpaper of the game. I just wouldn't notice these things on the bottom of a gun.
With all the different weapons you can find, I could pretty much guarentee they would have something like that on there.
