Western tour when?
Man, Japanese metal is fuckin weird.
Strangely compelling
Man that's a huge croud
czokoreto
That was... oddly enjoyable. I wasn't even bothered by the lyrics (I'm honestly not a fan of Japanese when it comes to music. I just can't get into it.)
kinda disappointed the lead vocalist didn't burst into deep hardcore growls
Why is it that Japanese dancing always looks weird? Like it's not even dancing, it's just a bunch of different poses and pointing.
This is the most metal thing I've seen in a while.
i thought it would be like this

Still doesn't beat Galacta Knight's theme for best cutesy shock-value.

Not gonna lie, I actually am really enjoying this. I think the uplifting vocal tones of the singers strangely harmonize very well with the actual music
welp i guess BABYMETAL is my latest fav band
Only Japan can make such a bizarre fusion of musical genres.
I was wondering when facepunch would find out about this.
They've been around since 2010 but only have like, 4 or 5 songs. Oddly enough they are very popular despite this. They even somehow managed to do a Single with Kiba of Akiba, a much bigger band.
My favorite thing about this band is the pissed off metalheads, oh no how dare japan taint the sacred metal by having young girls singing.
If this had growls instead of pop vocals they would eat that shit right up
:suicide:

They've also had the Taiwanese band Chthonic do something with them IIRC. Pretty interesting, as Chthonic are fairly large too.
The Japanese seem to have something for trance in metal though, blood stain child and such mix it in.

They released their first album two weeks ago if I'm not mistaken. Also they literally describe this genre as kawaii metal.
This is the most cringe-worthy thing I've seen in my life, ever
Japan take anything and put young girls in skirts on it
I found Babymetal a year or so ago, this one is by far my favourite due to them rising out of the ground at the start:

What the fuck am I listening to? I don't like metal but this is to metalheads what Chaos is the the Holy Emperor.
HERESY
Oh god. I hate KPop and metal equally as much but...this...this is so mesmerizing

Maybe because this is jpop
Maximum the Hormone is a better mix of jmetal & jpop.
Still a better subgenre than pornogrind.

Couldn't have pissed off metalheads that much, Metal Injection and Metalsucks (name is ironic) have been writing about them for months
