• Reset Gameplay Teaser

A bit late, but it's still amazing and I couldn't find another video thread on it. It's created by Theory Interactive, a 2-man studio who created the engine (Praxis) by themselves from scratch. All footage is in-game and not rendered. Both of the people in Theory Interactive (Mikko Kallinen and Alpo Oksaharju) worked on Shattered Horizon, which is my favourite space-shooter (ie 6DOF) ever. The indegogo campaign for this will soon arrive, apparently. I'm excited, to say the least. EDIT: link to facepunch forum thread about indiegogo campaign: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1323870
This looks absolutely amazing, even more so by the fact that only TWO people are making it from scratch. One nitpick though, I hope they give the robots a bigger sense of weight. Watching them jump onto cars and seeing them not crunch or even dent or crack a window makes them look weightless. Of course it must be early in development though, so it's easily forgiven.
Is this about what happens after robots temporarily stop working for a few years, and restart afterwards? Suppose that's why it's called Reset.
This looks amazing.. Just spectacular even. I look forward to playing it eventually, that's for sure.
Looks like a depressing version of Wall-E, and very interesting.
I can't believe I just developed an attachment to that robot and felt sad when it stumbled backwards and "realized" that staggering difference in time (the reset). Stoked on this.
Holy shit I still remember seeing the first teaser, It's fucking amazing how far they've come....
I'm getting alot of Halo 3 ODST vibes from watching that, it looks great.
Here is the first trailer that came out last year, gives a bit more info about the robot itself.
Futuristic Sci-fi puzzle game where you can go back in time and co-op with yourself? Gonna follow this game.
I can't tell if I'm just being dumb or everyone else is getting over excited. What is the general aim of this game? I take it it will be story driven, because I don't really see the appeal of pushing cars around.
Holy fuck I need this game
Guesstimations spoiler [sp]I'm betting there's a human inside the robot[/sp]

They just released this video which shows off some gameplay and launched their IndieGoGo campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/reset--4.

I checked the subforum rules and there didn't seem to be anything about it. EDIT: I ended up making it anyway. Here's a link to it: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1323870
I remember fawning over the first trailer when it was released however many years ago, funnily enough it just doesn't look as impressive as it did back then.
