The camera work was also insane. out of curiosity, I looked up some of the gear used to shoot this:

and obviously that doesn't include the camera bodies, mounts, tripods, etc
fuck me
are those jetpacks real? thats fucking insane.
Thats the best "touristic" video of Dubai I've ever watched.
Dubai should take that video and use it as a turistic clip.
Makes me wonder what the thrust-to-weight ratio of these are when they are manned.

They are real. However, those are jet-powered gliders not "real" jetpacks like the ones we know from Pilotwings or James Bond. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yves_Rossy
He's basicly just falling.
With style.
And it's fucking amazing.
They have way too much money to spend on things like this its amazing.
Does anyone know what one of those jetpacks costs?

One thing I learned once I started with video production, you'll never be able to afford all this equipment on your own ever
Whoa fuck when did this technology get so amazing
That's some real superman shit

Also wondering if the plane had to cruise very slowly for them to be able to keep pace

It had it's flaps down fully, it was likely cruising just above stall speed.
