I'm going to have access to 3D printers in September :D
I'm going to have access to 3D printers in September :D
Can you print me a fleshlight?
Seriously, until a few months ago I didn't know 3D printers existed but now they're everywhere.
Ya know Roll, if you could print me a fully colored Wheatley at the size of a Soda can, I'd love you.
It even does moving parts. How...
I understand the concept of how they'd do most of it, until it gets to the moving parts. That blows my mind out of several oceans.
Now we can torrent hardware

I wanna be able to download a video card. No, fuck that, an entire monster gaming rig.
So amazing I would have thought it was fake. But holy shit. The future is here.
Dear sweet lord.
3D photocopiers, 3D asses, 3D asses everywhere.
Now we can torrent hardware
This is funny because it's going to be one of the hottest debates of all time in the future. If you buy a wrench, you own it. But what if you scan the wrench, and print it? Does the IP belong to the company that made the wrench?
how lucky are we to live in this time? we can fucking print real life 3D things now

That's beyond amazing... it's ultra-amazing!!!
gimme tf2 flamethrower please.
It isn't printing it into the air. It's printing it in layers with powders, so things "suspended" in the end product are printed with powder between it and the main shaft/area/whatever.
They probably don't care since 3D printers are so expensive right now that it's impractical
I said future. You can get a MakerBot for $1,299.00 right now anyways, or a RepRap (RepRap's probably cheaper, you can use an existing RepRap to build lots of pieces of the RepRap, so all you really have to do is find someone who has a RepRap and then some.)
I'm going to have access to 3D printers in September :D
I'm kinda happy for you, but at the same time I'm scared of what things you might bring into this world. [editline]9th July 2011[/editline]
Ya know Roll, if you could print me a fully colored Wheatley at the size of a Soda can, I'd love you.
It would be neat if it could print it with his moving parts, as a test to show how they can print moving parts, but I remember valve mentioning that his one layer of his 'eyelids' is impossible and actually clips through parts or something.
I wonder if it prints people.. :q:
Now we can torrent hardware
REPORTED FOR SUGGESTING WAREZ!! :v: [editline]1[/editline] It was a fucking joke, christ
Now we can torrent hardware
Soon we'll be able to actually download a car.
I'd print my own dick then sell it as a dildo.
The only thing they need to do now, is to be able to use different materials.
We have one of these 3d printers at our school and we use solidworks etc.
Chuck Norris prints in 4D
Good god the possibilities with this are endless!
this will change cybering forever
