It's a sadness that Toei can be so stubborn about fan assistance/fan works, but I'm glad Funimation are gung ho in getting the highest quality possible, and interacting with their fans heavily. Could it be a cultural thing that causes Toei to act like that?

Wow, I've got bootleg 60's anime DVDs that sound much better than the official releases and it's a shame that Toei refuses to do anything about their audio.

I haven't watched Kai before, but it started in 2009 so I'd assume it's fine

Audio is good but I can't watch Kai for the sole reason that Gohan is a kid voice actor now instead of a grizzly sounding man. The Original dub is my fav
