First of all, i think this is the right place to post this, if not just move it. -- I just found this Amazing 3D render, rendered in a program called "Next Limit Maxwell Render". Check their site.(They have a demo) I doubt that picture being 100 % rendered, but still :3 Also found some info on compile time http://www.maxwellrender.com/version2/noise_comparison.html Maxwell Renderer Demo Reel
Maxwell Render was one of the tools used to create the Oscar winning Visual Effects in the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Vue 8 is released! (relevant, i guess)
Pretty impressive.
Videos And Flash Movies and That Kind Of Crap This would go in creationism corner. but anyway, that looks like an awesome render. the people are obviously shopped through.

Post your boring short stories, ugly drawings and home made noise. Basically post creative stuff that you created.
That's some pretty amazing stuff they've got on their site.
Too bad you will never be able to interact with an environment like that for at least 5 years or so :(
I can wait 5 years for this being realtime rendered.
Noooo, this is real stuff! D:
Can't wait until this is fused with facegen and modified so you could make bodies too. ...hopefully... ...:q:
If I wasn't aware that those images were fake I'd take them for the real thing.

That cannot be not real. My mind is blown. :zoid:
I can see the first two pictures as computer generated, but the last two are absolutely amazing.

those look like fucking photos
I especially like the one of the sink, I would never have guessed it was a render.
Raytracing renderers are comprised of very simple math, very easy to write to make something look pretty; it's all about efficiency, though. The faster the renderer, the less time needs to be put in compiling an image, which means things can be made faster and with less actual work hours.
Last one is real. Has to be.
I...I... :psyboom:
