Francois Vogel presents a new technology for 3D screens without glasses!
This system works only on 120Hz monitor displays. It simulates 3D Active Shutter Glasses. I hope to have a final version for CES 2012. For further information, contact me at talk@jonathanpost.com

Oh god his eyes. That's hilarious.
That could totally not go wrong in any way
Sweet jesus that's creepy
That looks like it would be very unhealthy if used long-term
Looks either fake or dangerous. I can't tell the difference at the moment.
oh god is that serious
That's fucking weird. next thing you know we'll be able to play piano without learning just by strapping some LEDs to our wrists.
I suddenly feel a strange urge to try that for myself, if only to feel what it's like to blink so fucking much.
How do those things make your eye's move so fast
That can't be good.
I will never believe that is real before I see it in the news.
How do those things make your eye's move so fast
If I understand it correctly, those things send electrical impulses to your eyelid muscles causing them to flex rapidly.
I don't know if I should feel amazed or terrified.
I started laughing when I released it worked using electrical impulses
This is fake, right?
:ohdear:
Next thing you know they'll make something that allows you to read books at extremely fast speeds and retain all the memory.
That can't be real.
Can't use these because they attach to my face directly where the arms for my glasses go :saddowns:
That can't be real.
It's funny people say that everytime something new and unusual shows up, and then it turns out to be true.
I like how it works.
It doesen't seem that harmful, unless you keep using it for like 5 hours straight.
"This facepunch thread.. it seems so.. real.."
When he said that he's found a way to do it without glasses, I thought about just blinking really fast. I burst out laughing when I saw that's exactly what his devicething does :v:

They probably work as long as you set them in a spot nearby
What the fuck I wouldn't do that to myself
I wonder if they'll work on my penis :q:
if you consider this real for even a second you are an idiot

I am just making a realistic guess. Do you know how much that will strain your muscles? Imagine watching a three hour movie with that. This is just stupid. Toshiba has already made a 3D TV that doesn't need glasses and you don't have to flicker your eyes like a spastic either.

Calling someone an idiot without explaining why this wouldn't work doesn't help making a point.

I didn't say it was the best option or even healthy, I'm just saying that it isn't as irrealistic as some people are making it out to be.
Agreed. I could tell this was a joke right from when he said "The glasses open and close at very high frequencies"
That...it just doesn't work like that, unless you have those fancy glasses with electronic shutters, but most cinemas don't
Lol. stuttering eyes for the win.
it will mostly cost four "hundred thousand dollars" in the future.
the lest until your eye doesnt pop out from that blinking.
