I was looking at gameplay footage the other day and got horrible flashbacks of my conniptions playing Super Meat Boy many years ago. :blaze:
yeah that level where you ride the octopus truly was agony (especially if you're trying to get an A rank and need more pink parry's off those shrimp but instead keep hittin the fukin anchor aaaa), but oh god the final boss is somehow even worse. I spent so long on that boss.

This game kicks my ass but I'm slowly getting through it.
Something you have have have to do is to put dash on a trigger button not on a face button because that part of the default controls sucks.

A good section of it has to do with YouTube and streamers however, not because people just want harder games.
These games blow up because of reactions like this, so the market churns out more. Streaming has done some good, woo!

they've already started and there's some interesting tricks currently, like only using and rapidfire switching between spread and the lobbing fire mode to do damage even faster (i think) than charge does.
Tim's and MoonMoon's streams were so fun in this game. 15k people screaming and laughing at them failing made my night multiple times.

At 0:40, it sounds like Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Fun game so far. Not as great or as hard as people have been hyping it, but still good (On level 3 right now). The animation and music are top notch but man parrying is dumb and so are the Run and Gun segments.
Parrying places you into bad situations and it sucks how the grade system requires you to do it. I also overhead that the parry is a circle and cuphead's hitbox is a square; which explains how fucky the parry system is sometimes.
Run and Gun has very little thought put into and goes against all the principles that the game teaches you. It's said that they were added because people wouldn't buy the game if it was just boss battles.

Started doing that, but still got fucked over sometimes. I just beat the game and overall I'd give it a 3.5/5 just because the parry system, length, Run 'N' Gun segments, and lack of end game content. Not a bad game, but not as great as people were making it out to be.
