this year's episode of the annual quiz hosted by Jimmy Carr featuring Richard Ayoade, David Mitchell, Micky Flanagan, Sarah Millican, Mel B and Kevin Bridges
Blocked in UK as usual, damn you Channel 4.
You didn't miss much. Richard and David got pretty fed up halfway through and you could see they were getting pretty tired. Mel B was shite and everyone made fun of her. And Sarah Millican just did her usual jokes relating to sex and giggling at rude words. Bring back Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand. Also put Noel Fielding with Richard Ayoade and David Mitchell with someone else good. "I'm 28, would it be biologically possible for you to be my mom?" "Where I'm from, yes." Holy shit, that one got me.

Seemed a bit too all over the place this year, not bad but definitely nowhere near the past couple. Seriously, Mel was a terrible addition to the panel
Jimmy Carrs fucking laugh gets me every time. "HUUH HUUH HUUH HUUH HUUUUUUH"

Put Noel Fielding with Brand. Those 2 are hilarious together

Who was it who ordered pizza in the middle of the show a while back? [editline]27th December 2014[/editline] It was Jack Whitehall and James Cordon, but the footage's been taken off youtube by Channel 4 again. Funny stuff
Mel B was pretty bad.
All these general knowledge questions is a great reminder that I haven't watched channel news in a very, very long time.
Mel B was pretty bad.
She pretty much made the show. Not because she was good but because of all the banter towards her was pretty funny while the rest of the show fell flat. The line up for the anniversary edition sounds great though. Brand, Fielding, Warwick Davis, Whitehall and Ross are top notch
What was the point of Mel B being there though? I mean no one considers her to be a genius (comedic or otherwise) so was it just to have someone everyone can pick on? A lot of what she said was just pointless and she added nothing of value to the show so it just seems like a joke by others to bring someone below their standards and just wait for her to make a mess to pounce. Not saying it wasn't funny, but cruel in a way.
Oh lord Dolly Parton looks fucking awful. I quite enjoyed watching this. When they made fun of Mel B so much that Sarah said "Stop it for fucks sake" I almost died.
Thank you so much, OP! I accidentally slept through this year's episode Kinda sad to see people saying it fell flat, especially when Richard Ayoade is such a babe
And Sarah Millican just did her usual jokes relating to sex and giggling at rude words.
Oh, good to see she's just as intolerable as ever.
why was mel b such an awkward sourpuss the whole thing
Is it worth the watch then? I'll save it for later if its still a good laugh.
I think it is best to watch it before the anniversary edition, since that has a much better group. It is definitely funny and a great way to spend 1.5 hours, but I've never really seen Carr at a loss for words as much as he did during this show (not always because of Mel B). The chemistry of the participants was not as strong as previous years. Also I love/hate Carr's laugh. I feel like it is a joke on its own right.

Funny stuff
That was the best one in years, they got shitfaced during the show and were writing answers down that were in such bad taste that Russell Howard had to help them hide it when it came up on the screen.

I think the best Big Fat Quiz moment was Sean Lock on the kids and then on Katy Perry. It's worth watching this to the end.
Holy shit you guys weren't kidding about Mel B lmfao
