Would have been great if they stomped over them and arrested them.
Seconds later, several arrests were made.
I would have laughed if a cop joined in
I love how they are just protesting to protest. But yeah it would have been great if the entire police force joined in. or at least one
You just KNOW that every one of those riot cops wanted to dance.
I was waiting for one of the protesters to grab one of the officers and promptly get trampled and beaten. I was disappointed :(
I saw one do a little wiggle in the back :buddy:
So... many... hipsters... Gah...
What is this G20 shit?
A bunch of protesters who use global social networking to organize protests against globalization.
Oh Canada... [editline]11:12PM[/editline]
What is this G20 shit?
It's a meeting about the worlds financial problems between the leaders of 19 countries and the European Union. This year it's held in Toronto, Canada http://g20.gc.ca/about-the-g20/ They have them all over the world, last year it was held in Pittsburgh, United States .
So is there any good reason why there protesting?
So is there any good reason why there protesting?
It is something about monopolies. I don't quiet get it either. Here I found a post.
the G20 are the meeting points for world leaders who in turn control the WTO and World bank which controls the majority of the third world through horrible loan agreements. Not to mention the expansion of free trade between all nations which would allow global monopolies for the companies in the G20 Countries. And by global monopolies i mean completely destroy any rising business from the third world.

So is there any good reason why there protesting?
It's a pitfall, they're talking about world financial and debt issues yet they're spending more money on "golden jets".

Protests, riots, blatant crushing of freedoms by police disregarding the constitution, me losing a debate on the topic before the last period, ah yes!
How come everyone that's in favor or the protesters has a angsty avatar First the weed guy now you with the Soviet sign
There is a direct correlation.
Holy shit I remember last year's G20, which was in my state. Seems like such a short time ago... Protesters seem so pointless and stupid though.
Only in Canda
...I've met like 3 of those people...
Didn't they have one down in Scotland? I know someone who had to go down there and police it.. Said it was hot and all the companies there hated the protesters for blocking their roads and causing disruption etc. and one water bottle company gave them like 20,000 bottles of water for free. Pretty much the protesters said they were going to bring lethal weapons, didn't, then wasted tons of everyone time for one or two television spots on the news.
I was waiting for one of those fags with the shirt to bump against on and just get swallowed by the line
It is something about monopolies. I don't quiet get it either. Here I found a post.
Except that's wrong.
How come everyone that's in favor or the protesters has a angsty avatar First the weed guy now you with the Soviet sign
I was arguing against the protests, firstly. Secondly, I'm not angsty. Thirdly, the supreme court decided finally that the police of the city violated the first amendment rights of the protesters, that's not an opinion.
Your sexy, your cute, take off your riot shield!
They're actually saying "You're sexy, you're cute, take off your riot suit"
