[hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eFA3cwfR3E[/hd] One thing's for sure -- instead of being a pussy magnet, it'd be a "ricer magnet". So many people freaking out at the sight of a true JDM car in the States!
I'm sorry, but unless you're blind left turns aren't gonna be any more difficult.
I'm sorry, but unless you're blind left turns aren't gonna be any more difficult.
Unless there's a left-hand turn lane on the opposite side of the intersection with cars obstructing your view of oncoming traffic. Can't Doug have it swapped to LHD?

Although, my coworker just told me he's selling his 02 250GT for 3.7k because a close friend sold him a 08 skyline for 5k and he wants to leave his daughter and son in law a nice car when he transfers. Only 47k miles on it on it, if I had the chance I'd sell my Mitsubishi colt in a heart beat but I need the my car to go to work. Trying to get my wife to sell her shitty 03 Mitsubishi mini pajero but she's stewing on it. I was Originally going to try and buy my other coworkers '97 Evo 7 but he wanted like 7k for it and this is such a better deal.
I'm sorry, but unless you're blind left turns aren't gonna be any more difficult.
There's a reason the passing lane is on the left in LHD countries. Do you really want the faster traffic in your opposite-side blind spot?
How can you afford a land rover and an older skyline But really, what year is that skyline? An early 2000's?

Then sold it.
I didn't even know Skylines were legal in the USA, something about EPA. Or does this not count because of the year it is?
I didn't even know Skylines were legal in the USA, something about EPA. Or does this not count because of the year it is?
They're legal but the Skylines had to be specially imported from Japan so they're very uncommon.
I didn't even know Skylines were legal in the USA, something about EPA. Or does this not count because of the year it is?
They aren't allowed because of some byzantine crash and emissions regulations. However, a company imported a fuckload, crash tested them and shit and got the R32 Skyline approved, so they are road legal. They also claimed R33s were similar enough - lying, by the way - and tried to get them approved. IIRC, people that had R33s imported before the gubberment realized it had the NHTSA show up on their doorstep with a mobile car crusher. Ye olde Skylines (older than 25) are legal to import, as is any car older than 25.
How can you afford a land rover and an older skyline But really, what year is that skyline? An early 2000's?
Between 1989-1992
It's a 1990, straight from Doug in one of the earlier articles.
Unless there's a left-hand turn lane on the opposite side of the intersection with cars obstructing your view of oncoming traffic. Can't Doug have it swapped to LHD?
He probably could, but JDM enthusiasts would never do that.
My left hand drive car has the stalks in all these places. Didn't know it was backwards.
I don't know how you could deal with that. Volkswagen have their stalks on the opposite sides here, it's really annoying because you can't indicate and use the gearstick at the same time.
Most cars designed for right-hand drive markets have the indicator stalk on the right side of the wheel so you can indicate with the fingertips of your right hand and change down a gear for the turn with your left. Whenever I drive a non-Japanese car here in the UK with the indicators on the left I'm annoyed by it constantly.
Ferrari are a bunch of assholes.
Alot of assholes drive they're cars so its no surprise the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Right hand drive? More like CORRECT hand drive.

During a road trip, my friend spotted a R34 in a used dealership, and I didn't see it because I was driving. I still cry late at night, or whenever we go on a road trip I always say "Let's pass by the dealer with the Skyline", so guess how rare it is over here :v:
Japan, skylines are surprisingly cheap even GT-Rs/R34s, but it's illegal to import to the US unless the cars are beyond a certian age. The other reason I didn't get one is because road tax is $200+ dollars a year, plus insurance because of the class of vehicle. Even worse, there is really few places to open up. Unless you hop on the tollway you have a fantastic choice between congested 1 lane roads and even more congested 2 lane roads. Here's the Skyline I mentioned earlier. Isn't that basically just the rebadged Infiniti G35?
Isn't that basically just the rebadged Infiniti G35?
I do believe it's the other way around.
Isn't that basically just the rebadged Infiniti G35?
Yes, albeit reversed. Came out in Japan first, then rebadged as the Infiniti G37 for the two-door, G35 for the four door. A lot of companies sell their normal cars in North America under their luxury brands, i.e. the European/JDM Honda Accord is the "Acura TSX" in NA [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/67/2008-2011_Honda_Accord_Euro_sedan_%282011-06-15%29_01.jpg/1920px-2008-2011_Honda_Accord_Euro_sedan_%282011-06-15%29_01.jpg[/t][t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cf/2009_Acura_TSX_--_NHTSA.jpg[/t]
G35 is the one with VQ35 in early-mid 2000s, G37 is updated model with VQ37 engine that came out in late 2000s. [editline]22nd May 2015[/editline] Both available as coupe or sedan
I do believe it's the other way around.
That's actually what I meant to say. The Infiniti was a rebadged Skyline.
That's actually what I meant to say. The Infiniti was a rebadged Skyline.
So yeah, it's basically a rebadge of V35 and later Skylines, as explained above.
Some right-hand drive cars I've seen has the turn signals on the left for some weird reason
I see right-hand Delicas in Vancouver and the interior all the time. Great cars but fuck paying $6000 for a rusting 20 year old import.
Some right-hand drive cars I've seen has the turn signals on the left for some weird reason
Are they European/American cars?
Most of my brother's cars have been left hand drive versions that were imported from the US, and he's never found it all that difficult to drive them over here in the UK. Maybe it's harder the other way around.
