Forgot to add Youtube star in the title.:quagmire:
Not to be heartless but is being bisexual even a big deal?
No clue who this is but I do have to question how this is a big deal in the West unless you live in the Deep South.

from texas: coming out was only ever a "big deal" in high school, and bisexuality was way less accepted than homosexuality. nobody really cares either way though, some close-minded people will silently judge you but who cares
the guy's 26 and lives in fucking long beach california, he'll be okay.
Not to be heartless but is being bisexual even a big deal?
Well kind of, a lot of people forget we even exist, and some people, both gay and straight, even deny it as an actual sexuality. Like, they think it's just experimenting, or lying. Bisexuals are like the fucking Korean War of sexualities. Nobody ever remembers us, because they're too busy thinking about WW2 or Vietnam.
being bisexual is about as common as dropping out of school
No clue who this is but I do have to question how this is a big deal in the West unless you live in the Deep South.
I feel like this video is less about "I'm so scared to come out" and more "I finally feel like I'm starting to know who I am as a person."
Also, why did I go read the youtube comments?

It's almost like he said he's bisexual instead of gay.
Are you sure you understand the word 'Bisexual'?
I know what it means.
I'm sorry, man. I didn't mean that.
I'm just curious about how he discovered it

Straight enough to make some gay people dislike you for still being able to "blend in" or be heteronormative or whatever the fuck it is, gay enough to make straight people uncomfortable or engender bad feelings. Yay!

atleast i can jack it to anything
I feel so bad for bisexuals. Not only do people treat them as if they don't exist, they have to put up with getting shit from both gay and straight people, and then people outright deny that they get any abuse in the first place!

In high school I remember being bisexual was mostly just talk. And I don't really know this for sure but I think most of my friends from high school today ended up being straight after all. Maybe the correct term for it is bicurious? Most of my friends including me was a little "emo" though so maybe that explains it lol
I know people who say they are bisexual today but I haven't heard or seen them with someone of the same sex before. I know some gay people who used to be bisexual though.
I'm bisexual myself but over the years I've been feeling more gay than straight so I sometimes say I'm gay when asked just to keep it simple. Relationship wise I've been with more men over the years but overall mostly women. The usual reaction I get when I say I'm gay or bisexual is either neutral, a little positive or other people saying they are also bisexual.

at least bisexuals can SAY "They like woman" without lying to heterosexuals
homosexuals and trans have to outright lie about what they want
bisexuals are still included in the gay rights group by simply being gay. But they still can look for an appealing husband/wife without the thread of being outcasts. If you're entirely gay, or just marrying the same sex, you're outright treated like a second class citizen (though the states legalizing it changed that)

gays really shouldn't be judging people based on sexuality like that. Any gays actually doing that probably don't understand the hypocricy of that.
lots of bisexual erasure up in this thread
I always called this guy a faggot, looks like it has become true now.

Its not that they don't exist, is that gay rights overshadows bisexuals as it still involves them

Great job at being a homophobic bully

Being gay or transgender includes growing up without having a semblance of 'normal' feelings to grasp onto, and for gay folks, romance, love songs, and every movie where the guy gets the girl or the girl gets the guy is something that seems foreign and isolating from what is felt inside.
I was almost certain of this years ago.
