This video would be more unusual if it was anything but nuke. 15-0 comebacks to 15-15 are normal on that map due to how CT sided it is.
One of the first things I learned was that, while useful if your team is rich, Negevs and Autos can be the worst buys if you die with one and the other team picks it up.

Once you go up ranks it gets easier to get at least 4 or 5 wins on T side since less is down to luck and lucky placements.
Most of the time smoking outside brings balance since you're on the CT side now, but it takes teamwork to do it well since you need to coordinate smoke placement to properly conceal you from garage and the catwalk.

Learn how to do well with cheap weapons, not only do you do well if your team is losing, but if you die when the team is winning, the enemy won't get an expensive weapon.

awp is the reason why i hate sniper rifles besides being super expensive, zoom in oh shit i see him *click* but instead he 1 shots me and he receives no hit there goes all the money back to the dualies.
This is why I use the scar and the g3 they don't punish you for missing.

A lot of servers that banned the AWP weren't running 5v5 or competitive rules. In proper competitive play, the AWP isn't OP at all and if you say it is, you're obviously not approaching it correctly.

yeah i also forgot the pinpoint accuracy when you stop for half a second and zoom in for another half second for an instant kill. Its a garbage gun that has plagued the series forever. Its the main reason i can't play CS:GO for more than a few rounds without quitting because its just annoying and boring.

Because of butthurt? The AWP can easily be countered by smoke grenades, flashbangs, and not being a fucking idiot

It seems like you're forgetting the other half of the gun. It costs a lot, doesn't give much per kill, and puts a ton of pressure on the user to do well. If you fuck up with the AWP, you're giving the other team something pretty powerful and you're also potentially fucking over your team's economy too. It takes a lot of skill to use the AWP properly in competitive play.
The awp is essential to the CS meta game and has been in the series right from the start , grow up and stop blaming the game for [B]your[/B] shortcomings on the game!

im sorry most of the community from CSS knew the gun was a piece of shit and banned it, The only reason its kept the same is because how much of a crybaby the original CS community is. Flashbangs and smoke do help, but they counter every fucking weapon period so its hardly an counter.

By most of the community you mean public servers.
AWP in competitive play is completely balanced. If you are good enough hold a location 1v5 with an AWP then that says more about your skill/enemy team's lack of skill than the nature of the gun.
When you pay attention to the economy during a match you understand why it's a risk/reward purchase that doesn't always pay off.
I don't mind the awp really, just when more than 3 players on my team use it and just stay trying to snipe mid and get edgy wallbangs while the bomb carrier died at A.

They banned it because if you allowed it on a public server, a good chunk of the time rounds would evolve into stalemates/slugfests because half of a team is filled with people using the awp. The gun is perfectly fine, it's just if too many people are using it not only does it kill your teams economy, it promotes turtling which is fine in normal competitive but not on 24+ player pubs.

Exactly. Removing the AWP automatically makes a Dust II long push very very T sided.
The AWP locks down areas of the map so that the CTs can better control it. The biggest problem with using the AWP is that if you miss a shot you're dead. People can do things such as use smokes and flashes to disable the AWPs ability to lock down the area and force them to retreat, and then you now have control over that area. Shoulder peeking can also be used to cause the AWPer to fire prematurely, and then you can fully peek and attempt to pick him with an AK or another AWP. AWPs are also very bad in close quarters because missing = dead. It's a very balanced weapon. All of that is of course without considering that it costs $4750, and with kevlar + nades about $6750. That's a huge buy, and costs way more than what the average player has without consecutive wins. The AWP has very little return as well, only giving you a very small cash reward per kill compared to rifles and especially SMGs and shotguns.

Of course it's terrible, the entire point of the awp is that it's an incredibly powerful weapon that's balanced out by cost. Remove the economy and it's an entirely overpowered weapon. Nobody is arguing against this. You just don't seem to understand that in the context of how the game is intended to be played, it's perfectly balanced.
