The Hoverboard is great. It works, it's practical, it isn't that slow, and it can go close to 15 MILES on a single charge. The only problem with it, is you look fucking STUPID on one, and that's why a lot of useful stuff never takes off

I enjoyed this video and will check out more content from these content creators. My comment to the thread is that I was driving and saw a black fellow hoverboarding along side his friends. He was telling a story, and used the hoverboard to gesticulate: at the punch line, he spun around 360 degrees quickly, and threw up his hands in exuberance. It was funny.
I was leaving to go to work this morning and some kid came flying down the hill on one of these and flew straight onto my bonnet, i made sure he was ok but i feel so bad for the first thing coming out of my mouth i said was "fuck i wish i'd have filmed that"
The problem is that they don't have to follow regular safety standards and people can buy these willy nilly and there's been far too many injuries. Someone will die on one of these things no doubt

I want two of them to make a shriner car.
Hoverboard is on fire

Someone will die on one of these things no doubt[/QUOTE] People will eventually ruin it for everyone else by doing stupid things with them. Just look at flying a drone or quadracopter, there's all sorts of FAA regulations now since some people have been begging for them. If anything, these mini segways will end up being classified as a motorized vehicle of some sort and some sort of laws will come out onto them.
