Wait what
He said curo
What bullshit.
That's what you get for improper pronunciation.
Did they ever "take a look at that"?
Bullshit to get the answer wrong when the second word was already there, just because his pronunciation made it sound like the I was silent. Poor guy.
At least it was only the "chance" to win a million. Not the final spin million.
He's not really getting cheated. As harsh as it is, those are the rules of the game. Pronunciation has to be correct.
When it's the last letter and so obvious like this, it's fucking retarded to not just give it to him. You see this happen so many times on this show for fucks sake.
The recent prize puzzles have been kinda bullshit anyway, so he's not missing out on much.
Gotta pronounce it correctly in order to get it Example:
Thats fucking retarded.
It's part of the rules, but I think the show just wants to keep the money
Oh TV, this is why I quit watching you.
I saw a comment that said that there's a lot more that you have to do to actually win the million so there's very little chance he would have actually got it anyway.
I saw a comment that said that there's a lot more that you have to do to actually win the million so there's very little chance he would have actually got it anyway.
If he had solved that puzzle correctly, he would have had to win the ENTIRE game by having more money in the puzzle rounds over anyone else. Then he would go onto the bonus round, where the $100,000 space is replaced by the Million Dollar Prize, and he has a small chance of landing on that. If he lands on that, he has to solve a puzzle in 10 seconds in order to get the million, if he even landed on the space that the million was on

Pronunciation might not seem like an important detail with a word like curio or when the puzzle is effectively solved, but for people guessing at ambiguous words that can sound like other words by making a longer sounding vowel it's extremely relevant. You can't have a show based on guessing words and phrases and not expect contestants to get away mispronouncing them. This one just hurts because it's so obvious.
