they clearly tested this knew about it but its ok they can release a patch 2 months after release
I can't see how that wasn't found in playtesting.
I don't know what is up with Dice, but I think they are the same company that released 2, 2142, and Bc2 only in name.

All of those games were fucking terribad for bugs for quite a while. Not all of them as bad as, well, this. But pretty awful at times. DICE have always been a bit eh on the testing side.
Though how on earth you miss something like this I have no idea :v:
That's pretty goddamn shameful.
This video is bullshit. The runways are not too short. The jet physics in BF is so wacky you can take off with half the runways you see there. All these people crashing just have no idea how to fly.
The runways are not too short, that specific plane is bugged when it's in contact with the ground. Can't even tilt the plane forwards or back on the ground.
This video is fucking BULLSHIT, I don't know what kind of shit is going on here but this is not what happens in game. I bet they used c4 to do this.

You are also wrong. It's a glitch in second assault, plane movement controls don't work in contact with ground.

Do you know how many thousands of players are experiencing this problem? 9/10 i'm experiencing the same issues, especially in the Su-35BM Flanker
Opposite of Fast Six
I'm guessing it was a good idea to hold onto my money instead of throwing it at a game that has been unplayable since their public demo.

The game hasn't been unplayable since October-November for most.
It's fucking bizarre. The fighter jets, for some reason, feel like they're glued to the ground until you've run a good distance, the other type of plane doesn't have this problem for God knows what reason.

The thing is, the Refractor (2142 and prior) games were that good that you could see past them, and I never really experienced anything game breaking. With BF3 and what little I've experienced of 4 (And BC/2 but not to the same extent), the opposite is true.

It is for me, and I'm not joking about the unplayable bit. I borrowed a friend's account to see if I could actually play the multiplayer bit. But it just lags unbelievably bad, it's a literal slideshow for me complete with graphical artefacts and unbelieveable glitches. Also lots of BSODs, CTDs, and 90% of the time it doesn't load anything properly. During the 'Beta' they had I'd load into matches, get a black screen and could only see the game if I was in windowed mode, and on the esc screen.

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing problems. It's unacceptable that EA forced DICE into releasing a game and content that's incomplete.
Oh DICE, how the mighty have fallen
Oh DICE, how the mighty have fallen
It's DICE's fault EA rushed them to release BF4?
I do love how DICE catches all of the shit for the problems with the game.
EA is the publisher, and they insisted on competing with CoD when it came to launch date, so they pushed DICE to release a product that they had planned on developing for a longer period of time.
DICE puts in tons of fucking hours trying to fix these problems, have you guys not even noticed this entire month of player appreciation? Sure double XP and a few free guns isn't making up for constant crashes and instability, but what do you expect? Them to just throw your money back AND let you keep the game? They offered refunds a while back so if you had this big of a problem I don't see why you didn't simply return the game.
It's sad that a developer like DICE will be disgraced because EA pushed them into a position that was going to fuck someone over.
how do you screw up run ways for jets
probably cause they were focusing on the main portion of the game

It's called a bug, this doesn't exist in SA Xbox One, didn't exist on the PC version for a short time either, until a patch. Things break when you manipulate millions of line of code.
It's DICE's fault EA rushed them to release BF4?
Not inherently, but that sentence still applies.

are you for real implying that DICE doesn't have a history of releasing hilariously buggy and flawed games
Not inherently, but that sentence still applies.
So you expect a game developer to just tell the publisher to fuck off?
Like I don't see what scenario that you would expect to happen excluding the one that DID happen.
In not other humanly possibly scenario did anything get any better

Do you by chance not meet the system requirements for the settings you're running?

Again, the sentence is still appropriate because the good talent at DICE is being wasted by the assholes at EA to appeal to the lowest common denominator. "How the mighty have fallen" due to how most DICE games are pretty shit compared to the depth and diversity the older games had.
are you for real implying that DICE doesn't have a history of releasing hilariously buggy and flawed games
Nobody is implying that. But it's a fact that EA rushed the released of BF4 and it's DLC, and skimped on the QA budget. If it we're up to DICE the game would have probably spent another year in development, just like the dev cycle of most BF titles.
The video says the runways are too short but most of the planes veer off into a wall or a hill before they even reach the end. Are the physics on take off just fucked?
The video says the runways are too short but most of the planes veer off into a wall or a hill before they even reach the end. Are the physics on take off just fucked?
You can't tilt the plane when it's in contact with the ground.
Do you by chance not meet the system requirements for the settings you're running?
I meet recommended settings pretty easily. Granted, my video card doesn't have more ram than I have hard drive space but that's pretty silly for a requirement for a battlefield game.

Hell my laptop does even.
