Basically my life...
this is more ADD than ADHD
Yep pretty much what its like.
Do you know besides the hyperactive part, what the actual difference is in terms of how it feels and works. I always wondered that.
Loved the way he was asking for help on 4chan
Go to a college sell your medicine. Profit
this is more ADD than ADHD
ADD is now classified under ADHD
So they're the same?
Do you know besides the hyperactive part, what the actual difference is in terms of how it feels and works. I always wondered that.
there isn't really one. add and adhd are the same thing but some people are more "hyper" than others.
It's like autism and asbergers, more of a spectrum or something. I don't really like this video, not really how ADHD is.
It's like autism and asbergers, more of a spectrum or something. I don't really like this video, not really how ADHD is.
it's sorta how it is for me...idk if i really have adhd or not though a shrink gave me the diagnosis once but didn't really follow up on it and i think she mighta been fishing for diagnoses to put me on meds or something because she was also trying to say i might have asperger's and i definitely don't fit the guidelines for that. [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] i'm not really stereotypical, but my mind wanders over really simple stuff and i have a hard time staying on any sort of "track", thoughtwise. basically i just zone in and out of conversations that last more than 20 seconds. same goes with classes, reading, etc. [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] maybe that's why i like message boards and chats so much, they are short and simple and don't take too much effort to keep my mind focused.
I guess it's similar but way overdone idk. Maybe I just experience it differently.
well yea it's obviously overdone. it isn't a simple task putting all the nuances and subtleties of human experience into a comedy video.
Hey I got Aspergers...
Hey I got Aspergers...
Wow, this video must be worse than I thought.
I actually don't give a damn what it was trying to depict and tried to enjoy the video from a purely comical experience. Didn't leave me in stitches but I loved it nonetheless :>
I guess it's similar but way overdone idk. Maybe I just experience it differently.
It really varies from person to person. I have ADHD, went to counseling for it years ago. Tried out a couple different kinds of medicine to see what helped and what didn't. It turns out my brain tends to process things faster than it can keep up with, or at least that's what the tell me. I would say the video is just about 90% me. Except for the creepy staring...and the car crash... Although I do tend to stare off into space sometimes and I have been in a car crash, but that's irrelevant.
Shit, that video hits awfully close to home. I have that exact problem of often being unable to pick up what people are saying to me, I often get distracted doing simple things and sometimes I lose control over my thoughts (like when you can't stop thinking of a tune stuck in your head, but more in terms of general thoughts).
It's like autism and asbergers, more of a spectrum or something. I don't really like this video, not really how ADHD is.
wat so you're saying i'm an autist AND that i have aspergers because i have ADHD c00l
This reminds me of Peep Show with the extreme close ups and voice overs and dark awkward humour. They earned a subscription right here.
these guys seem pretty funny and original, i feel the same way sometimes but i was never diagnosed as ADHD, just easily distracted
We meet once again hoodtocoast. I still love you.
wat so you're saying i'm an autist AND that i have aspergers because i have ADHD c00l
No, I meant it's a spectrum, I apologize if people thought I was equating the two. Asbergers is a type of autism and ADD is a type of ADHD. [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline]
It really varies from person to person. I have ADHD

it's sorta how it is for me...idk
Sorry for ignoring your experiences :(
well for me people will be talking to me about very important work related info and my mind just wanders off, they'll be speaking and I can hear them but as soon as they finish I have no idea what they said.
I can actually vouch for this, considering I was diagnosed by a really known doctor. It is exactly that. Right now, as I am typing, I am thinking of Harpers Ferry rifles in the Civil War. No Joke. How can you not think about these beautiful things.
I have 5 tabs open, keep watching youtube videos back and forth, talking to 3 people and playing a game in windowed mode. people do not understand how important window mode for games is for adhd
Ah, I love you to Oz
