Uh, the 4 way split screen kinda sucked, hard to actually see all the reactions at once.....
This guy had the only real reaction.
how can people get so emotionally attached to a character? you could see it happening a mile off
how can people get so emotionally attached to a character? you could see it happening a mile off
i personally thought he had level 100 plot armor
i personally thought he had level 100 plot armor
Nobody does in this goddamn show.
Nobody does in this goddamn show.
Ramsay Bolton disagrees. He literally wears his plot armor into battle
This made me smile. I even said yes out lout when it happened.
Nobody does in this goddamn show.
Tyrion does.
Ramsay Bolton disagrees. He literally wears his plot armor into battle
You mean the Stannis fight? Because they were extremely outnumbered.
You mean the Stannis fight? Because they were extremely outnumbered.
Like repelling some of the Iron Islands best men with his bare chest and 20 good men.
You mean the Stannis fight? Because they were extremely outnumbered.
Fighting 20 Ironborn with no armor and only two daggers. Where the 20 armored Ironborn lost to Ramsay and his dogs.
I feel like I'm the only one who couldn't get past episode 3 of the first season of this show. I had no clue what was going on.
I feel like I'm the only one who couldn't get past episode 3 of the first season of this show. I had no clue what was going on.
I was in the same boat at first. My girlfriend kept way better track of the plot and characters and she helped me through it. Now I can follow it pretty well since I know most of the characters.
I've started to resent this show a little bit. Seems like they're killing people off for reactions now. Yes, I know Jon was stabbed in the books, but there's a lot of people the showrunners killed that should still be alive.
why does everyone film themselves watching a show? is this a new thing? it seems really self absorbed and narcissistic like, who gives a fuck about these people?
why does everyone film themselves watching a show? is this a new thing? it seems really self absorbed and narcissistic like, who gives a fuck about these people?
Could be wrong, but it started with the red wedding. edit: misread, no idea when it started as a thing

And not all of them know they're being recorded.

When you watch Season 5, it doesn't have that same feeling as season 1. I was very invested for the first 2 or so seasons, but now the show has lost that captivating feeling. Now they are just tearing through content to get to the final stages. Overall, I think reading the books killed most of my enjoyment of the show, regardless, nothing can defend the disaster that was Dorne.
CALL THE PUPPY
It's awesome that people were surprised, but a lot of folks are acting like there was no buildup, just like - boom, "Let's kill him because he's the favorite lol." There was so much fucking foreshadowing leading up to Jon Snow's death. In the books AND the show - and essentially in the same way. Plot wise, the fact that the mood of this season was very dismal and dire makes a lot of sense. In every good story, things have to get way fucking worse before they get better - and the show is very true to the books in that regard. After all, there's likely only two seasons left, and they're getting into the final stretch of the story. The stakes have to be HIGH. Plus (HUGE Book 6/Season 6 SPOILERS) [sp]Jon Snow is pretty much guaranteed to come back in some way or another. I mean, Melisandre is at the wall when Jon dies in both the show and the books, and it might be that he's Azor Ahai and all that jazz. Other theories include that his body died but he warged into Ghost; Melisandre will revive Jon but it won't really be him, a la Locke from the final season of LOST, and if Jon happens to be warged into Ghost he'll have to find a way back into his body; Jon is revived and he'll have received a mission from the Rhllor; Jon comes back with the help of Weirwood Bran etc. Jon's role in the story is just too important. Plus, if he's revived, he's not really obligated to be in the Watch anymore and can go north or south to do a bunch of rad shit and maybe finally find out who his mother/father actually were.[/sp]
The black guy on the bottom left. LMAO
why does everyone film themselves watching a show? is this a new thing? it seems really self absorbed and narcissistic like, who gives a fuck about these people?
Better than people unboxing shit. Still stupid, though.
Ramsay Bolton disagrees. He literally wears his plot armor into battle
Nah, he just has Twentee of House Goodmen as his bodyguard. Dude is a fucking legend.
Bronn needs ten good men to impregnate the Eyrie Ramsay needs twenty good men to do most of his stuff Bronn > Ramsay

Part of the problem is certain narrative threads in books 4/5 went on backburner, and I hear they are pretty slow books anyways. So the show which focused on other "TV friendly" narrative threads had to catch up in some way.
This guy had the only real reaction.
That's how I felt about Jon's death. Didn't care about him and found his character to be rather boring and undeveloped to have any sort of interest or attachment. I hope he doesn't return like people are speculating he will.
