Jumping peppers! A new Star Control game! Please don't be awful...
This better be good. Not sure I like the art style they're going for, though, but we'll see.
that looks... pretty darn limited I played star control 2 and it was a masterpiece and all but don't expect me to want to play the exact same thing with shinier graphics. I guess I'll wait until we see if the aliens have character or not before judging it [editline]19th October 2016[/editline] mass effect was inspired by star control (I don't care if bioware never actually said anything about it, the overarching themes and story are practically the exact same) and the reapers were certainly inspired by the kohr ah. these are my favourite bad aliens in video games [editline]19th October 2016[/editline] there are so many fucking great lines in there, good god almost all the other races in that game were very silly and enjoyable but it's these guys who stand out for me
inspired? They straight up ripped giant chunks out and made them 3D
inspired? They straight up ripped giant chunks out and made them 3D
Back when I was first playing Mass Effect 2 I was hoping there'd be a Star Control species (maybe like Orz in an exosuit or something) hidden in the crowds on citadel somewhere, it saddened me when this wasn't the case.
I mean, the Mycon are incredibly similar to the Hanar.
the mycon are also great
I can't help but think of Space Station 13 when they use the exact same alarm siren. :v:
