So Tarantino is going into blacksploitation? Django and this at thew same time?
double feature maybe?
What? How is Tarantino involved in this at all? Looking on IMDb he doesn't have any credit
Was the golden dude Batista?
it's tarantino presents, just means he helped out with it or helped fund it and shit

looks well cool tho
looks alright, definitely not a tarantino film by a longshot, just doesnt feel like it
So Tarantino is going into blacksploitation? Django and this at thew same time?
django isn't blacksploitation for the same reason that inglorious isn't jewsploitation. they're just satirical revenge films
i don't see anyway in which this film is blacksploitation at all apart from... well, there isn't one. there were loads of ridiculously, stupidly, and unrealistically badass characters in that trailer from pretty much every ethnicity i can think of. last time i checked, russell crowe and lucy liu aren't black
[editline]29th June 2012[/editline]
and putting rap music in a trailer doesn't make it blacksploitation either. rap music is just popular
Doesn't look like a Tarnatino film in the slightest.
Love it when they shove the names of famous directors on trailers to try and get people to go see it when really they have nothing to do with it.

god it's like you don't know what it means when someone PRESENTS SOMETHING
I thought he was doing Django Unchained...
I probably wouldn't care about this if RZA wasn't directing. I have nothing but high hopes for this.
Edit: And guys, Tarantino's been "presenting" movies for years. Hostel, Hostel part 2, Sin City, Western Sukiyaki Django , etc.
they put the F-U in kung fu
terrible
I heard about this a long time ago when I was looking through Russell Crowe's film credits and I figured a kung fu movie directed by a guy who calls himself RZA couldn't possibly be any good but shit, this looks fun.
ughhh fixed the thread title. this isn't a tarintino movie.
Eh, I think it looks kinda fun. I'd watch it.

I know exactly what it means, but it's like when they mention James Cameron was the executive producer, they try to draw people in with famous names.
Well I actually heard Rza along with the other wu-tang clan members actually know a lot about the b-movie cheesy kung-fu genre, I bet they are bringing that influence to make it an entertaining but corny film. Hopefully at least.
