DEA Administrator loves dodging the question.
I've seen Jared Polis before, he's fucking amazing.
Ahahaha what a stupid bitch
Ahahaha what a stupid bitch
Not quite. She answered the way she did because she valued her position and her job. Every cop/law enforcement officer/official in the land knows the difference between heroin and marijuana.

Every cop/law enforcement officer/official in the land knows the difference between heroin and marijuana.
She could have just stated already confirmed/proven facts about marijuana's effects on the body vs. heroin's without putting one above the other (oh, smoking pot is bad for your lungs, heroin messes up your dopamine receptors, etc etc). Instead, she said "oh well uh, all drugs are bad m'kay" Blanket statement ftw
Not quite. She answered the way she did because she valued her position and her job. Every cop/law enforcement officer/official in the land knows the difference between heroin and marijuana.
i think there's a line between trying to protect your position and making an ass out of yourself and your administration. by dodging a simple question she is just hurting herself and the DEA way more than if she just simply answered the question.
By simply answering the question, she shakes the foundations of the lie that they've been selling since drug prohibition started. She's obligated to not give a straight answer here, on some serious shit that goes back hundreds of years. Not just to preserve her own job, but to preserve the integrity of the entire institution founded on the lie. I hate that her job exists and that it has to be this way, but this is what happens when you allow your politicians to be bought. I don't blame her for handling it that way, that's what her job is. But if you'll notice, she does eventually pass the buck to the real root of the problem. And it's the same answer any police officer will give you, 'congress has determined that this substance is illegal, we're just enforcing the law'. So in effect, the guy really is grilling the wrong person. The important thing is to ask why congress has come to this conclusion, and the answer to that is certain financial interests pay enough money to these individuals to keep it that way. Remember, it's hard to get elected when you can't fund a campaign.
She sounds like a broken record
of COURSE heroin is more dangerous than marijuana you have to STAB yourself to inject it, that shit hurts
I think this is the same representative that posted on the League of Legends, not sure though.
I love how her response everytime is "uhhh, all illegal drugs are bad" True or not true that's such a cookie cutter fucking answer, jesus. If you can't properly explain the effects and comparisons then why are they even holding such a position.
His question is extremely straightforward. It's not a matter of her valuing her position, it's a fear of saying something wrong. She knows that she's not particularly well versed in the matter, and she's falling back on "all illegal drugs are bad" because it's something everyone can agree on without her being wrong. However I do get the impression that Polis is being a awfully malicious in trying to prove to everyone in the room that she doesn't know anything about it. She may not know a whole lot, but it's not really cool to call somebody out like that.
I expected better debating skills from a DEA Administrator.
of COURSE heroin is more dangerous than marijuana you have to STAB yourself to inject it, that shit hurts
You can smoke heroin.
holy fuck she is dumb
Fuck yeah, Jared is my state's senator
I hate people like this. You ask them a fucking question and they repeat the same bullshit over and over even though you just KNOW that they're hiding from the fact that they're imbecilic.
I hate people like this. You ask them a fucking question and they repeat the same bullshit over and over even though you just KNOW that they're hiding from the fact that they're imbecilic.
Quite the opposite. They're not imbecilic. They're actually very smart. Their motives are all kinds of fucked, but they're smart about it. She knows that heroin is more dangerous than marijuana, so she uses the blank statement to avoid admitting so. She knows that if she does, it's a huge step back in her cases against marijuana, which are more or less based financially than actually in public health.
She's probably avoiding the meth question because meth is schedule II (you can get a prescription in the US) yet cannabis is schedule I.
Why doesn't someone tell her to just ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION. It shouldn't be allowed to even give an opinion as an answer.

Lmfao, she gets fucking ravaged. I love seeing stuff like this.
I think you should be some sort of punishment for avoiding questions
Steve Cohen destroys her.
last time i snorted pot i went on a killing spree. shits terrible.
I have a theory: She's fucking baked.
the US gives the DEA $2 billion and they cannot answer a simple fucking question.
You can't just say "DRUGS R BAD" when confronted with any question related to marijuana.
Caffeine is probably more addictive than weed.
