I can't wait for E3.
I cant believe im saying this.. but it .. doesnt look generic.. at all...
I must say I don't think it looks half bad myself.
Looking a lot better than before. The previous console gameplay made me want to tear my eyes out at how bad the player was. Where as in the videos shown here, the player is quite competent at FPSs.

Why is everyone obsessing over this? It looks alright; but whats so goddamn unique about it that has everyone changing their pants?
I don't really see anyone obsessing over it, just saying it looks like a good game. I personally find the damage/death animations and ragdolls really satisfying. Bodies seem to actually have weight to them instead of floating around like they do in most games.
Why is everyone obsessing over this? It looks fun, if you get so many enemies attacking you and its a difficult shooter but not cheap tactics used to kill you, then I'll really enjoy it. I trust id.
Perhaps RAGE will be their big comeback.
Why is everyone obsessing over this? They remind me a LOT of the Crimson Lance from Borderlands.
Hey, at least it's a new franchise and not another sequel
This looks like what Borderlands was like at first.
Why is everyone obsessing over this? It looks alright; but whats so goddamn unique about it that has everyone changing their pants?
Because it's id, looks pretty fantastic
Because it's id
"Id made Doom and Wolf3D, therefore every game they make will be good."
"Id made Doom and Wolf3D, therefore every game they make will be good."
With the exception of Quake 4 (it was okay at best, had a few memorable moments), this is a pretty true statement. RAGE looks to be no exception
Where's the 60 FPS footage? I've only seen it in action in the small clips from the flash game.
With the exception of Quake 4 (it was okay at best, had a few memorable moments), this is a pretty true statement. Well then that explains that
I still don't realize why some people say post-apocalyptic games are stale. I can only think of three or four different games (including RAGE) that are post-apocalyptic.
