It's smaller than any other camera that can record as fast as this one (2,564 FPS) and also records HD up to 1920 x 1080 It's fucking expensive as hell though It seems it's so good that the guys who designed it got Oscar awards
I always love this video, no matter how many times I see it.
"3.6 GB of memory for each second of recording"
2500 FPS that can't be fucking right at all then I saw the video amazing
"3.6 GB of memory for each second of recording"
Seems pretty insane but then you realize that you won't likely be filming a certain scene for more than 5 seconds.

I wonder and quite hope so if cameras capable of recording and these speeds will ever become commonplace.
I would have so much fun with this thing. There are cheaper alternatives, but nothing that gets as good of FPS as this one, at least not that I can find.
it's only $50,000+ totally worth it for personal use
Didn't the SlowMo Guys record a video at 10,000 FPS with this thing?
It isn't that large, if they had recorded stuff for the length of the whole vid(3:49), it would only be ~800 gigs.
I think he means actual seconds, as in time passing while filming. This is 3:49 seconds of video is actually like a couple seconds since it displays at like 80x slomo
I'm gonna be honest. I think the music and sound effects are quite bad and it takes away from the overall experience.
