"Upcoming Red Dead Redemption DLC"? Has it not been released in Australia?
I agree with most of what he's said, especially the bit where you don't really do anything in secret, y'know, covert. Only mission I recall featuring something like that ended with half a mountain collapsing. Oops.
Awesome as usual. Great points he made and I loved the part about eating glass.

he's from the UK, I think.

He lives in Australia though.
I love how on the site, it says the platforms are PS3, 360, and Wii, but it doesn't mention PC at all :v:

Most of the "fanboys" for this game are for the multiplayer aspect. He was talking about the singleplayer.
Brilliant :v:
"GO THERE KEEP RUNNING TAKE COVER NOT THERE YOU'RE GETTING SHOT THERE SHOOT THAT GUY NOT HIM HE'S ON YOUR SIDE CAN'T YOU TELL HE'S WEARING A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT HAT QUICK PICK UP THAT GRENADE AND THROW IT BACK I DON'T KNOW OVER THERE SOMEWHERE OH THERE SEE IF YOU'D THROWN IT SOONER THAT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED YOU STUPID CUNT"
And I totally agree with him when he talks about expecting a little covert gameplay, there was like, a single stealth mission in the whole game, and a short stealth section in [sp]Vietnam where you end up blowing the whole place up anyway.[/sp]
The site doesn't even load for me.
Very true.
Black Ops didn't give me a single fucking break from the action, and the title 'Black Ops' itself is very very misleading.
It's true bout everything blowing the fuck up, it's like a Michael Bay movie
Trough the whole champaign I was thinking "Oh god please don't let there be one of those god awful Vietnam missions again!" guess what? It's happened, it happened so many times.
Also possibly the best ZP ever IMO.

Yeah, I was nearly begging for no more Vietnam missions. Actually I was sitting there thinking "Come on you piece of shit campaign just end already so I can unlock Five and be done with this fratboy/12 years old macho man shit".

There's never been stealth in CoD. They just tell you not to shoot and give you the illusion that you're sneaking around things.
A black operation or black op is a covert operation typically involving activities that are highly clandestine and, often, outside of standard military protocol or even against the law. A key factor in making an operation "black" is that it is carried out with great secrecy; in many cases no records of the operation are kept. Similarly, a secret budget (such as for military or intelligence operations) is called a "black budget".
I think it fits fine. Just because they are hardly ever put into recorded history doesn't mean they have to be sneaky.

All of that is pretty similar to the other games.

He rarely comments on graphics or controls unless there's an actual problem with them, and he did comment on gameplay, just not in a very detailed sense.

Because it's the same as the rest of the Modern Warfare series. He doesn't need to repeat it.
Poop game.
The correct term is shovelware.
The only thing I didn't quite get was the end.
What's the joke with Switzerland blowing the starting whistle?
The only part I agreed with him on was shoving the glass in the prisoner's mouth and then he joins your party right after. It made absolutely no sense "You just interrogated me painfully but I guess I'll help you guys"

Oh god, this guy called the Call of Duty series the Modern Warfare series

[sp]Clarke said he was a dead man anyways, and some Spetsnaz (I think they were Spetsnaz) came and filled the room with Nova 6. He had no choice and just because he's a dead man doesn't mean he wants to die anytime soon[/sp]

Switzerland try to stay neutral, so they'll simply start it and then sit in the corner on a deck chair.
He was really true about the amount of action. I literally felt exhausted after about halfway through because the game simply didn't know when to stop. Every two seconds there was a massive explosion and flashy lights and all sorts of crazy shit.
They talked about that in one of the Valve commentaries I think, about how if you don't put pauses in the action then it'll wear the player out and make them bored. Treyarch obviously didn't listen to the commentaries though. :v:

Spetsnaz didn't fill the room with Nova 6, there was nova 6 containers in the room and the firefight ruptured one of the containers.

Either way he still had pretty much no choice.
