Fucking inflation joke oh my god
Internet has more potential than just more video games. Still wonder how they will fit in Mario there.
where are the emojis you can't have the internet without emojis
I'm getting so many emoji movie vibes from this... But the bunny scene was pretty funny. :v:

I really hope this isn't close to what the movie actually is like. The first one really worked as a story arc if you ignored the heavy handed references, but god that's a bad trailer. Basicely no plot beside "theyre going in the internet, place of relatable things, fellow millenial movie goers" right now. I can see the social media scenes from here, oh god no.
I can see the social media scenes from here, oh god no.
Oh god yes because this ain't Sony with their Emoji movie. And I'm pretty sure they are keeping the actual story plot hidden for now.

And I'm pretty sure they are keeping the actual story plot hidden for now.
We already have our dystopian virtual social media hell here right now, I really don't need my corporate CG fiction from our Disney overlords to make meta jokes about social medias with virtual anthropomorphised characters, so other corporate overlords can sell more products to millenials through product placement in mainstream entertainement, that's too many levels of cyberpunk for me.
reminder that the director is the dude who made a ton of loved simpsons/futurama episodes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rich_Moore
Who was the person voicing the eBay auctioneer? It sounds really familiar for some reason. Also Incredibles 2 and this? I am fucking hype.
The villain is going to be a shady thing that follows Ralph all over the Internet to suggest new things for him to buy. Screenshot this.
I bet Turbo is somehow going to make an appearance
The villain is going to be the girl that had to watch the over feeding scene, i can see it
I am getting a bad vibe about this.
No wait The villain is Ajit Pai [editline]when[/editline] Honestly calling it, considering the social justice themes in Zootopia, I wouldn't be surprised if the plot was a pseudo corporate/state take over of the internet, as a parallel of current politics, however ironic that would be coming from a Disney owned studio
Is the villain the god from Moana, since the baby Moana model was edited slightly?
The plot looks a lot like the emoji movie. Virtual characters escape online, find different services and real-life brands.
Idk it looked fun to me? The acting felt a bit stiff but it seemed fun.

I wonder if anyone has ever listened to that "sometimes I get a good feeling" song outside of an ad/trailer. I swear that song has been the go to for advertisers for at least 5 years.
The bunny bit was genuinely funny. I have faith that they're hiding the plot to make it more interesting when you actually watch the movie. It might just start as 'wacky adventures in internetland' and then slowly the actual plot creeps in, that probably has some serious parallel to the real world like Zootopia
I wonder if anyone has ever listened to that "sometimes I get a good feeling" song outside of an ad/trailer. I swear that song has been the go to for advertisers for at least 5 years.
They used it in a trailer for the first one.
The plot looks a lot like the emoji movie. Virtual characters escape online, find different services and real-life brands.
Pretty much. I mean theyre's a "YOUTUBE RED", "IMDB" etc sign, in an universe about pop culture reference. Not the website Youtube, the "Youtube red" subscription deal to avoid getting ads without an ad blocker. The only thing "Youtube Red" evoques me is Pewdiepie's show being cancelled over the WSJ hit pieces, it's not even available in my country, pay your suspension of disbelief :v: I also love that an entire scene is dedicated to the real auctionning website Ebay, and shows how the auctions work with the timer and everything while making a cute cat picture joke. Here, dear milllenials and gen z focus groups, that's how Ebay works, it's not complicated really look at this likable toy like character and all theses shiny CG, our corporate partners paid a fat check for us to dedicate an entire scene to their brand, and their shareholders want return on investement, please go back home and make some money! When I think internet culture, Ebay and Youtube Red are sure the first thing that come to my mind, I mean what's more culturaly significant than saving some cash by buying stuff used and monthly subscription services to skip ads. Product placements, the movie. I also like that they referenced maybe two dozen retro games in the last movie and now ditched games for internet corporations. Yeah theres isnt anything anything else to show about games, lets ditch everything about the last movie, we can make more money with brand deals and clicker mobile games.
