Preacher: 'Be Quiet!' Official First 4 Minutes of Episode 1 - General

Any non-US mirrors? I know it wont be possible to stick to the source 100% but most of what they've shown in teasers/trailers makes it seem like it's gonna be overtly violent for the sake of it. Like yeah the comics had violence but it was done in a pulp fashion and Jesse wasn't supposed to this 100% hard ass. Not to mention the Saint wasn't anywhere near as problamatic as Herr Starr but they're saying the Saint is gonna be the main bad guy. They've immediately fucked up Cass because you're never supposed to see his eyes for a damn good reason. It's the crux of his character. Comic/potential tv spoilers [sp]I'm primarily worried they're not going to portray god as a parasite and really hammer in the bigger concepts established in the comic. It's one of the best because it didn't pull any punches.[/sp]

Why is this limited to US only?

Never read the comics but from what spekter is saying it will be different like how TWD comic is different to show or worse ?

Its barely shown shit so far.[/QUOTE] Everything I've talked about in my post, they've either shown or stated already which is more than enough to pick up on the fact there's major elements that are missing, misunderstood or outright ignored. All the promo trailers/teasers so far have been nothing but violence which is not a definitive trait of Preacher and nowhere near the point of it.

I started reading the comic fairly recently, I'm onto Book 4 now. I dunno if I like the look of this show. Might stand on it's own but, doesn't look like it holds a candle to the comic. So far I can wholeheartedly recommend the comic to everyone though.

From the eyes of someone who has never read the books/comics, it looks pretty cool.
