Trump has emboldened the right to commit violence guys.
a protest ain't peaceful because one psychopathic loon attempts and fails to set someone's hair on fire? who is then promptly denounced by everyone there because nobody wants that kind of crazy bullshit? this is some reaching

This has to be a new record.

I don't care if it's a small percentage of people who do violent acts. I'm not gonna go into a crowd and risk my safety just because some people are still mad about the election.

We literally have another member here who made an avatar out of someone getting punched. Arguably he deserved it and people here say it's okay he got punched, but otherwise you shouldn't go about punching people you don't agree with, even if they are also ethically, logically, racially or politically in the wrong. Likewise it's equally asshole to be trying to light people's hair on fire. You're no better than them.

The media said that over and over again after Trump was elected. They said that right wing racists would come out of the woodwork and start lynching people or whatnot. None of that happened. Instead we got leftist violence.

Man, I wish the right had something to protest about so I could enjoy demonizing the entire mass of people when some asshole inevitably gets violent. On topic: Luckily they have a clear look of her face for evidence. Didn't even bother to flee the scene, this individual has issues.
lighting an innocent stranger's hair on fire is not the same as punching an open admitted neo-nazi leader
According to the law, both still fall under assault.

You have to be joking. Go to 0:35 in your own video. He says the biker fought back in self defense after he was assaulted, and the police saw the incident and agreed. The other incident he describes is also self defense. Did you not watch your own video? Or were you banking on nobody watching it in order to trick people? Try harder.
The main problem for me is the protesters lack of response. They allow people to commit these acts and hide within the protest to mask their presents. If the majority of protesters were actually all for non-violence they would quickly intervene and eject instigators out. But they don't. So as far as I'm concerned they're apart of the problem. The same can be said about counter-protesters or anyone for that matter.
Did you actually watch the video or are you just this desperate for brownie points ?
This video is clearly trying to push a certain agenda and its dogwhistling tactics are blatantly obvious. It's saying that "not all anti-Trump protests are peaceful, just look at this one person!" when they accounted for an incredibly small minority of protesters. The protests that occurred this past week were, by and large, extremely peaceful, to pretend otherwise is a joke.
Is this going to be; "it's only the extremists in islam that is doing bad things" except; "It's only the extremists in the left that is doing bad things" ?
Yes because that's entirely accurate.

They never properly criticizes the extremists on their side. This has led to the general perception of the political arena to greatly favor the left. Meanwhile the right has always policed their extremists. I've learned recently not to punch right. It doesn't work.
Liberals have long held to the philosophy of "don't punch left". They never properly criticizes the extremists on their side.
Here. I'll do it, since you apparently missed the part in the video where numerous liberals did, in fact, criticize the aforementioned extremist. Violent protestors and rioters are not conducive to the values and goals of the left and should seek to represent their views in more constructive and peaceful methods. Happy? Of course, you are also ignoring where major political leaders that lean left of the spectrum condemn violence and extremism as well.
Leftists like those are insane. Go to a protest where people protesting a President cause they are scared by him, but then light people's hair on fire for supporting that president and having a civil debate.
Comparing the far left to the far right is like comparing poodles to pitbulls.
I disagree highly.
I disagree highly.
Care to explain? Worst thing the left has is Antifa and militant anarchists whereas the right has a whole spectrum of ultra-nationalists, and groups who wish to trample on the basic human rights of various ethnic groups. Sure, at the end of the day you might hear about more leftists punching people at rallies, but their ideology isn't nearly as terrifying.

It really isn't any more or less, but the prevalence of one is much higher in this period of time. Unless you can start showing some right wing groups doing things since the start of this election, that are confirmed, it seems the left extreme elements are more active at the moment.
Comparing the far left to the far right is like comparing poodles to pitbulls.
What kind of far-left/far-right are we talking about, and on what timeframe ? IE, do you mean the regular spectrum or you do you include extreme/radical fringe movements, and do you mean just today's politics or politics as a whole since the concepts of left and right have become prominent ?

Of course you're not going to see the same violence from extremists on the right fringe, there's no dissent, things are currently going their way in this country, they couldn't be more content that Trump is their leader. However you're wrong if you think this country has seen more violence from leftist groups over the years. We have a rich history of conservative crazies coming out of the woodwork and killing people, and typically the far right are the ones with the enabling firepower to do huge amounts of damage. A bunch of petty idiots trying to discredit Obama's presidency with the whole birth-certificate nonsense, but people didn't regroup in these amounts, across the world, to complain about the new leader of America being a black democrat. There was just as much fear-mongering, just on the other direction, but people weren't quite as physical nor quite as self-righteous, at least as far as I remember. I may just plain remember wrong though.
