Is it just me, or did they just slap a photoshop filter and remove some of the frames in most of those bits?
I know they have to promote the new DE but I wanted more DE1 scenes.
Was that Jensen's voice actor doing a less gruff voice?
Was that Jensen's voice actor doing a less gruff voice?
Probably not, since Jensen's voice actor doesn't shift his voice much at all.
NO, why are we acknowledging Invisible War?!
I like how they had some DX2 scenes, people hate on that game too much in my opinion.
I was hoping to see a lot more Deus Ex 1 instead of redrawing over trailer cinematics but regardless that was great.
NO, why are we acknowledging Invisible War?!
But Invisible War got me into Deus Ex.
NO, why are we acknowledging Invisible War?!
Ignoring the shit design decisions story-wise it was pretty hefty.
AM I the only one who would see a Deus Ex movie
Why focus on trailers that any deus ex fan has seen a million times. Show us scenes from the original
Loved that drawn JC Denton.
Loved that drawn JC Denton.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was a Deus Ex 1 remake.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was a Deus Ex 1 remake.
Something tells me they will get to that at some point.
Something tells me they will get to that at some point.
Honestly, I would to see that. Especially if they really pushed it and took the time and effort to include the cut branches.
Honestly, I would to see that. Especially if they really pushed it and took the time and effort to include the cut branches.
To be honest if they did that I was easily drop full price for it.
They showed BOTH Alex Ds, so are they both canon?
AM I the only one who would see a Deus Ex movie
I think Deus Ex with its emphasis on choice and consequence is one of those things that would only really work as a game.
NO, why are we acknowledging Invisible War?!
invisible war got as much acknowledgement as the original. gross. [editline]7th October 2015[/editline]
Something tells me they will get to that at some point.
It'd be amazing, but it'd be very hard to design some of those levels the same way they were in DX1. DX1 had the benefit of being low quality, so large, open spaces like liberty island or the different research centers were able to be huge and not use up a whole lot of space with details. Nowadays, it'd be hard to design something that looks "next-gen" with those large spaces, without it looking repetitive, empty, or both.

[editline]You dummies[/editline] I mean visually guys, come on.
AM I the only one who would see a Deus Ex movie
Not live action, but I'd definitely prefer animated movie like Ghost In The Shell.
Why focus on trailers that any deus ex fan has seen a million times. Show us scenes from the original
i would've thought most Deus Ex fans had played Deus Ex
I'm hoping we see more Page in Mankind Divided, and an introduction to Simons.
i would've thought most Deus Ex fans had played Deus Ex
It's not because we haven't played the original Deus Ex, but because it's great to see the original game[del]s[/del] more acknowledged by the new team. A remake that stay true to it would be absolutely phenomenal.
I'm hoping we see more Page in Mankind Divided, and an introduction to Simons.
[SP] Hell I'm hoping we get to a little bit of JC or some where along the lines of any sort of mention of the Dentons considoring DX:MD takes place in 2029. Which if Vandenburg is to be believed is the year JC is born. [/SP]
Probably not, since Jensen's voice actor doesn't shift his voice much at all.
In general voice acting? Because if so, you're wrong. I remember watching a lets play where they had his voice actor come in, and he complained that, despite having a decent range, that voicing adam actually cost him gigs. The video in question: At about 7 minutes in. Of course its mainly over gruff voices, and his voice is already as gruff as it can get. And a vocal range demo he put on his youtube channel to backup my claim.
Elias voice has a special cadence to it so you can tell it's him when he talks but he has a pretty good range.
