I cant wait to see his (freemans) reaction to the nihilanth.
He got about 17k from all those donations, holy poop.

I think in the bar graph he made showing the money milestones it said at the top "Get through Half-Life this year." If he were to stop at Half-Life he would've said "Get through Freeman's Mind," so I'm confident that he will do Half-Life 2. But that's all speculation.
I'm getting really excited now that he's this far into the game. It's been so long.

If that's true he'll have to switch back to the original Half Life. It'll be at least another four years till the Xen part of BMS is released.

i think he's said himself that it's not impossible that he'll do it, i think his exact words were that he'd see how it goes. but this is just a vague recollection of a comment he made on one of his videos so it's not an official statement
Half-Life 2's narrative style and communication with characters doesn't work too well with the narrative style of Freeman's mind.
[editline]26th March 2014[/editline]
Plus it'd be a huge commitment for him to do it for Half-Life 2, I'm sure he'd like to work on various other projects instead, rather than limit his creativity to this one style of comedy.
still watching in 480p because my connection sucks v:v:v

do you really think that he is using black mesa for this series
really just watch the video, not even the whole video just 10 seconds
If that's true he'll have to switch back to the original Half Life. It'll be at least another four years till the Xen part of BMS is released.
How.
How is this possible.

Hello, is this DarkSydePhil?
I think it's neat how he made an in-world excuse for not using the proton gun for the rest of the game and annihilating everything easily, that was cool
I think it's neat how he made an in-world excuse for not using the proton gun for the rest of the game and annihilating everything easily, that was cool
He is still carrying a Crowbar, Pistol, Submachine Gun, Shotgun, Revolver, ammo for all the above, grenades, satchel charges, and a rocket launcher and rockets.

Huh?
I don't understand what you're saying. Why does him saying "Half-Life" mean he's referring to the series and not the first game?
And what do you mean "he would've said Get Through Freeman's Mind" are you implying that if he were to do Half-Life 2 it wouldn't be under Freeman's Mind?

He IS saying that Ross Scott is talking about the first game. That because he qualified it with the first game, and not Freeman's Mind as a whole, he is going to continue it on and continue Freeman's Mind with Half-Life 2.
Also, for people wondering, he said some time ago that he has no problem going on to do Half-Life 2 as long as people still want to watch it and its still possible for him to do.

You don't even have to watch the video to see that it's not Black Mesa. The only thing you had to do is look at the thumbnail.
When the series is finally over, someone should stitch together all the episodes into a single thing.

Yeah but the gluon gun is a fucking monster did you see that thing, it literally liquifies the enemies with the most health in the game
And also the animation for when you use it is silly

Pass it off as servos in the HEV suit being able to add an extra 25kg+ to his normal carrying capacity.
Two pistols, some grenades, the MP5 and RPG is about acceptable, bit more than some soldiers - even the Met Police's armed officers can be seen with all that barring the RPG. Shotgun and the satchel charges can be put on the mechanical assistance provided by the HEV suit. Crossbow is pretty hard to pass off, but adding a backpack and hose to the assembly is going to get in the way of the other stuff. Main issue would be physical space to hang them all from, and I can't recall if he has the tau cannon or not.
God damn it, I haven't watched freeman's mind in so long I can't remember where I was up to :v:
It might have been something about bats
and I can't recall if he has the tau cannon or not.
he doesn't
dude he's using Half-Life: Source not Black Mesa
If HL:S looks this good then what was the point of remaking HL as BMS?
If HL:S looks this good then what was the point of remaking HL as BMS?
Are you joking?
If HL:S looks this good then what was the point of remaking HL as BMS?
Because HL:S was just a simple port from GoldSrc to Source. The only difference between it and the original Half-Life is an actual physics engine, hence enemies actually ragdolling when they die instead of a choppy death animation. It still has the same low-res textures, old sounds, and models with very low detail. Black Mesa: Source is converting everything to Source engine standards.

He also ditched the crossbow after he found out he couldn't get high off of it.
I cant wait to see his (freemans) reaction to the nihilanth.
I just can't wait for him to reach Xen in general. His Freeman is totally oblivious to the fact that circumstances and scientists are directing him towards being the one to try and fix this mess, and he's just wandering about looking for a way to get out of the place. Imagine the reaction when he might be expecting the portal chamber to be teleporting him to somewhere nice, only to be stuck on a floating island in the middle of an alien space. That shit's gunna be gud.
