To be fair, modern biologists do this whenever they discover new species, they just do it in Latin with ridiculous words. If they ever discover a mammal with an unusually large penis, it will almost certainly have a species name of biggusdickus.
I am certain this is going to happen
It already has with Uranus.

What's so funny about biggusdickus?
I didn't realize this was Weebl's Stuff at first.
I don't think it's going to be quite as widespread as you might think, simply because it's not a game every casual teen will grab. Not saying I wouldn't do that tho' :vs: sometimes

Clearly, anyone who likes that name is a homosapien
Can't wait to visit the :ass: planet
Kind of tempted to name everything I discover "this"

He has a wife you know. You know what she's called? She's called... 'Incontinentia'... Incontinentia Buttocks.

Probably an ingame thing for planets to not be named the same thing
I forsee at least one planet being called Pluto.

Then it turns out its just an asteroid or a moon.
"How do I Quickscope"
Lost my shit right there
If only Kevan Brighting were the one narrating this video.
I reeeeally can't wait for this game. One of the most ambitious I've ever seen.
That's why you shouldn't be getting hyped.
Especially because the devloper's previous experience are small 2D games. GOOD games, but obviously nowhere close to the scale of NMS.
The sad part is that there will most likely be word filter because ~family friendly~. So no dickcheese pissass shitcuntfaces.
[editline]16th July 2015[/editline]
And no Nazi ISIS stormtroopers.
Cannot wait for planet Isis
It's probably just going to be horribly disappointing
Tons of randomly generated planets where everything is the same purple dinosaurs and trees!
Seriously, every demo they have shown doesn't actually show us the process behind the generation, and every planet they've explored looks the same as the last but with a slightly different color scheme.
This reeks of the same bullshit Starbound pulled, and I have no doubt it will be as disappointing.
Well spore had a bit of this, but surprisingly most people didnt seem to make penis monsters.

They are not promising anything they can't keep, don't worry.
The issue is that people greatly overestimate and overhype it.
Will TF2 be doing promos for NMS?

Ah yes I remember when I got that game and being much younger and being surprised when some massive futa witch spaceship started abducting my tribe with a tractor beam from her penis
it was a fascinating experience
