Hey, I remember this from another thread with some screenshots where you asked for feedback. Nice to see that you are still at it, nice work, keep it up! :)
Another survival game sh-it
i don't think this is really trying to be a big game or anything
"Your SOUL It hears the voice of the nature".
hrm
There's something inside me... ?
Fuck you Navi there ain't no skeleton in me.
So what makes this different than all the other survival games excluding the graphics.
The ending of the trailer, lifting up, seems right out of Proteus.
It looks great visually, and I hope they'll be something more/different to bring it out from the usual survival tone.

Has there been a survival game set in a fantasy world? Where harvesting magic/fantastical elements becomes just as critical as the usual food/shelter/sleep?

While the game does have a few common survival elements it has a much bigger focus on exploration than just survival they are there as a means to go out and explore the world, enjoy the vistas and slowly unveil what the world and nature has to tell you
Here is a quick interview i did with PCGamesN that explains it a bit better

Thanks!, Proteus is a HUGE inspiration for me its one of the games where i could and i had a great time just exploring what was arround me and letting the world express itself
I've seen some uninspired shit in my days but damn this is up there.
After reading the article, this seems much more interesting.
To sum it up: Nature is a reactive element to playstyle. Almost a second character that will change depending on your actions. This makes how you survive easier/harder/different, depending on HOW you survive.
Not different in: "player is having an easy time, THROW MORE BEARS!" but "Player is choping down a lot of trees in this area, desaturate the fauna in this area and make it a bit harder to find harvestables around here"
[editline]12th September 2016[/editline]
It's part survival, but also an art thing.
Well I don't want to be mean.

Thats correct, Explaining a bit more on that aspect the Nature is a core aspect of the gameplay being part of the world it can change anything based on your actions, i.e if the player is pacifist and works in harmony with nature he will be able to find more resources, have an easier time surviving, even from the local fauna.
Eventually unlocking unique places that are filled with the nature itself. Having a message for the player ( and a permanent effect in the world ). Just using a quick example after the last scene in the trailer
Fireflies become visible at night which you as the player can trap in a jar and use as a light source for your home

This dude has been working on a survival game for a very long time and Facepunch has been there for most of the way. I assume he's taken what he's learned when making SURVIVOR and applied it here. Give him the benefit of the doubt, he has worked very hard on this game in one way or another.

Right? I couldn't believe the amount of negativity towards it almost immediately. Like damn, let the dude make his game without being molested.

Unfortunately there's just so many shitty cash-cow survival games out on the market right now that people have become incredibly cynical about any new games that are anywhere near the survival genre.

Just because the guy is a member of the same forum as us doesn't make him immune to our criticism. If the game looks like shit then most of us will probably tell him that.
