I really don't like how they're showing off all the boss fights, makes me unhype, but the game still looks good from what i can see

How do you say Joker isn't an assassin? He kills people. What do assassins do? They kill people. Sure he may not be the typical generalized assassin like Deadshot or Deathstroke, but he's still an assassin technically. He uses his resources to create ways to kill people such as bombs, laughing gas, etc.

But Joker isnt one of the 8 assassins in the game.
At the least, he's not one of the "8 greatest assassins in the DC universe".
The only thing that will bother me is how Jarl Balgruuf from TES is voicing Gordon.

Joker may not be an assassin career-wise but his main motivation is to kill Batman, so it makes sense if he is being portrayed as an assassin in the trailers. I highly doubt that The Joker would accept money for killing him though, it's more of a personal vendetta than anything.
Ways I see it, Arkham asylum was great in terms in terms of atmosphere and combat, and Arkham city was great for the same reasons, only there was more freedom.
All they really have to do is the same thing again, but this time with another engaging story and mayby a few new mechanics that work well in the game environment
TL:DR: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

To be honest, Joker doesn't want to kill Batman. He wants to see him fail, break his rule, lower him to his own level. And he knows Batman will do anything to prevent that creating endless loop.
Would be nice to have some more villains instead of the same ones from the previous two games. Firefly and Copperhead is nice but that's not enough...

Alas, still not enough.
That is a nice redesign for Firefly.
Only two of the assassins were in the previous games though, Bane was barely in either of them, and Deadshot was just a sidemission in Arkham City.
And Black Mask only had a cameo.
Plus theres still 3 more assassins to reveal, right?

I'd be fine with a mix of the old villains we know and love and some relatively unknown ones, which is exactly what they seem to be aiming for. Also it's not like they're going to reveal all the foes Batman is goinng to face before launch. Like aaron said there's still a couple more assassins not revealed yet along with the villains part of the Most Wanted mission system.

That's true, but he also doesn't want anyone else to kill him, so it makes sense that he would at the very least try to be the one to kill him. I would actually like to see the Joker help Batman during a fight with one of the assassin's.

theres a difference between an assassin and a murderer
an assassin is a whore, they do it because they are paid, and/or not just because they feel it. They make it a lifestyle and a job
a murderer is a slut, they do it because they feel like it, they do it out of personal reasons, or out of pleasure.
