Seems like a great character.
I wish they didn't give him any force powers though, the series should focus more on the revel alliance, not the jedi. We always get jedi.

Though with this bringing more empathizes on the Inquisitors instead of the Inquisitor...
sounds like he was constructed in a marketing room. If it were the 90s he would have a hoverboard. Feels like they are just redoing clone wars with a new arch then going in a less cartoony direction, but I can't give my final opinion until it's out.
This would be excellent if there were absolutely no jedi involved, maybe once every now and then to freshen things up but that's it.
Maybe its because I'm just totally desperate at this point for a decent Star Wars show, but this didn't look offensively bad or anything. I might keep an eye on it. I mean yeah I wish it wasn't another Jedi story, I wish it wasn't a kid, but at the very least it doesn't look bad.
this is just so...generic awesome teen rebel reimagining bullshit
Eh, I was hoping it was going to be just a bunch of rebels fighting and jedi would become these "myths" and legends that they become in the original trilogy and when one does show up its this huge event. Either with a badass jedi that dominates everything and makes the rebel look like their children or a bitter person that is everything a jedi is not supposed to be and lost everything in the purge.

One of the leads is a jedi trying not to be a jedi so he isn't hunted down and killed.
But how will they sell toys then?
They could of at least waited until half the season was over before already pinning him as a jedi.

I just realized that Ezra is literally Aladdin. Just look at him, and his character. A magical space genie even comes to help him.
I wish they didn't give him any force powers though, the series should focus more on the revel alliance, not the jedi. Small enough amounts of power to both be hunted but still do a lot, but not be nearly as powerful as any of their peers. it's always a "huge amount of potential in the force"
"It's everything I didn't want and nothing I wanted, but it doesn't look THAT bad" $5 says this show is going to be garbage like every other starwars product put out post 1998 (excluding video games)
some star wars shit was pretty good but the series should be a billion times better than it is now, it has massive potential and LUcus is too much of a dumb ass to actually use it. The originals were a classic benchmark in science fiction. There is so much to do. but you know what? CLONE WARS CLONE WARS CLONE WARS MORECLONE WARS CLONE WARS CLONE WARS EVEN MORE CLONE WARS CLONE WARS CLONE WARS CLONE WARS it's really sickening because that's most of the star wars content. It's good SOMETIMES, but for fuck sake, off the top of my head, excluding what the rumors of the next movies are, here are ideas I've made [del]1.KOTOR movie [/del] nvm lets not possibly ruin a good thing please 2. origin of the sith 3. origin of the jedi, or an ancient jedi order possibly during much younger years of yoda 4. origin of yoda 5, boba / jango fett 6. after the originals 7. maybe? kyle katarnn 8. Extended universe solely based around rebels during the original movies 9. A confrontation that happens before and between kotor 10. anything that isn't clone wars Clone wars is nice but that literally is all star wars is now. Please stop, the cow is dry. this looks like it genuinely could be amazing being in the place of both "Generic dude" with rebels and nothing TOTALLY "SPECIAL mary sue" about them
1.KOTOR movie
I don't want them to make this simply because they'd fuck it up like they did with the TORtanic.
I don't want them to make this simply because they'd fuck it up like they did with the TORtanic.
Fair enough, lets strike that off. I didn't like the game THAT much but that's because I didn't like the genre, but that game did the genre perfectly. :v:
i miss the days where I was able to enjoy star wars
It seems like MOST people would be interested in a non-Force related Star Wars movie or TV series, I play in a Star Wars RPG group and none of us are Jedi or Sith, just a group of skilled mercenaries and it's more interesting than Sith VS Jedi v.13123897: Electric Bugaloo. I'd love if they made an official series for a Star Wars show like this:
The way Jedi keep popping up after the formation of the Empire kinda defeats their image as mystic hermits. Oh wait the prequels already did that.
The way Jedi keep popping up after the formation of the Empire kinda defeats their image as mystic hermits. Also being alone for 18 years probably had nothing to do but meditate on the force. I loved that video. Wait. is that Peter Cullen AKA Optimus Prime doing the narration?
I don't want them to make this simply because they'd fuck it up like they did with the TORtanic.
To be fair, TOR is actually a damn good mmo It's just that they crashed due to just not being able to compete with other big names at the time. I pre ordered the collectors edition and had some good fun, and i just started playing it again and it's still just as good as i remembered it! Also this show looks p. decent, seems like it'll follow the same patter Clone Wars did It's gonna start really dull and then ramp up by the start of S2
All things considered, I'm just glad beyond words its not set during the fucking CLONE WARS. The Genndy Tartakovsky mini-series was pretty much the only good thing set during that.
The Clone Wars 3D series was actually fantastic post season 1
The Clone Wars 3D series was actually fantastic post season 1
I'll have to take your word on it, I actually never watched it.
I don't blame you. Most people who tried getting into it were turned off by the childish kind of vibe S1 gave off, but if you stick with it you get some really prime episodes. My favorite still has to be 'Rookies', which is just all about a radar station that some fresh blood clones are guarding getting attacked.
I might look into it then. I've been craving some Star Wars lately. I've been playing a ton of KOTOR and SWTOR lately to keep myself sated :v:
is this what that star wars casting call was for? i thought it was for ep7.
