It was so unreliable that I had to set it to 0.9x or sometimes even 0.8x bitrate.
I know, I used to have a class 6 card. It was so unreliable that I had to set it to 0.9x or sometimes even 0.8x bitrate.
Get class 10 cards! Class 6 is the bare minimum, I had many troubles with footage stopping with my Sandisk 32gb. Format the cards too, it should cause less problems.
Wait until you see real life film making with cameras and stuff.
Oh hey the aggregate is broken. Let's ask the owner of the farm if we can plug in our lights with a really long extension chord instead then. Oh hey the lights blew the fuses in his house and his fuse box is ruined now. Let's spend the entire wig budget on replacing his fuse box. Let's just wear grass on our heads and film in the dark why not? Also that really happened. Fucking... EDIT: The worst is when actors get tired though.
Wait until you see real life film making with cameras and stuff.
We were shooting a music video for my film teacher's nephew's band, and we were using a RED camera. The guy who bought the camera and tripod (who is a friend of my teacher, I think they went to college together) forgot to bring the tripod mount. It was pretty scary having the camera balanced on top of some sandbags sitting on top of the tripod.
